I think you over thought this. You have a good camera with good editing skills. Make your video's shorter, more action, less reading. I suspect that most people would be interested in what your buggy can do, have your girl help with some stationery camera work while you drive it... Bang thru some whoops, climb a hill, make a video... Good luck and try again...
