Best advice I can give.

Do everything you can find that's NOT the main quest first. Considering some 1/8 of the game is not in the main quest, it's good to avoid the credits rolling for as long as possible.

I never beat oblivion which saddens me. Now that im almost done with Skyrim, i just cant go back to oblivion. Being exposed to the new amazing creation engine, i just wouldnt be able to tolerate the oblivion engine as well as i did when i first got it. Sucks being on console. I need a gaming pc real bad....

The game worth buying, I've logged more than 600 hours on it since it's release back in 2006. It's much more restrictive than Skyrim though, levelling up is similar, but you have to build a character at the beginning of the game instead of just choosing how you look.

As far as story goes, Oblivion is about a pivotal point the the history of the games, and takes place 200 years before the events in Skyrim.

I thought long about that before I decided to either buy the regular or the CE version, in the end I choose to get the CE version. I do not regret that purchase.

@xT3RPSx Yea I can agree with that, I mean the spell effects and all look cool, and so are the animations, but their isn't enough self-customization. Like You can't create your own spells, no classes, you don't become better at something through just have higher stat's in you, you have to put points in "perks" (ya wtf). I thought of skyrim like Oblivion, but less customization, and they just put in a bunch of fan based mods. Oh, and they re-used music from morrow ind- bastards....

55:18 "Mana" comes from the Bible. When Moses was in the desert with the slaves they found some sort of cocaine-like substance that kept them alive when they ate it. It translates to "What is it?" So basically, RPGs likely call the fuel for Magic "Mana" because they didn't know what the f*ck the fuel was either.

You should have gotten rid of the Alchemy as one of your 7 skills and chosen Restoration. Because Alchemy is way to easy to level up and Restoration is a little harder.
