If Marijuana gets legalized it could possibly be so unregulated and uninfluenced by big business, that it would be sold and used in the same way it is sold and used illegally on the street. no different than today. unlike other countries where it has been legal, and is sold in coffeeshops and bars. I was able to get a huge amount of weed when I was 14, but it was SO much harder to get alcohol because I had to find someone who was 21 to sell it to me. Drug dealers don’t care who they sell it to. In the stores you need and I.D.

In places where it's already legal (netherlands) the amount of people smoking is lower then there are in the USA. I was able to get a huge amount of weed when I was 14, but it was SO much harder to get alcohol because I had to find someone who was 21 to sell it to me. Drug dealers don’t care who they sell it to. In the stores you need and I.D.

In Canada we have had two Commisions look at Marijuana, these were members of the Canadian senate, politicians, so not pot activists etc. Their conclusions for both were to LEGALIZE. I know a lot of people that smoke pot even now at age 48 and I used to smoke it when I was 13-25 and I never thought that potheads should go to jail with violent criminals, but it's true that pot can make you wasted all the time and mess up your life in many ways if you abuse it, especially when you are young.... When you eat, your brain rewards you with dopamine.
That trains you to become addicted to food, dopamine is what makes a drug addictive.
I am addicted to soda because you just open it and drink it, it's like fast eating so I get more dopamine.
There is no dopamine in pot and soda is not illegal.

Pot can't kill.
If you smoke so much that it would replace your blood you wouldn't die because your body can't use it to kill you.
I would probably survive injecting a small amount of pot into my brain.

I no longer smoke pot, it's a personal choice. However, I know people who smoke for a myriad of reasons, some for pure recreation others do so for medical reasons. Of those who use it for medical reasons, marijuana has been instrumental in improving their quality of life if not their health. No matter if I never touch ...or smoke marijuana again in my life, I will support the rights of non-violent users to do so.

In order for the powers that be to remain in power marijuana must remain illegal. The US privatized prison system must be filled, minorities must be kept down and pharmaceuticals wont make their money if people have free medicine!

You know, I used to smoke a little in high school and college and I still think only medical marijuana should be legal. The fact that they make a point about ex cons going back to jail because they smoke MJ while on probation - to me it just screams they do not give a shit about anything, including their own lives. Legalizing it imo will bring about an even bigger fall of youth culture and turn entire generations into couch potato marijuana losers. Yes, I went there.

@INatalkaI A recent survey found that about 43% of Americans admit to smoking weed. 43%! That isn't counting the large number of people who probably lied! If that huge percentage of the population smoke pot, then it's impossible to say that people who smoke it are lazy couch potatoes! America wouldn't even be functioning if that were true!
Besides, kids these days already are becoming obese, lazy slobs. Why? Because of poor diet, TV, video games, and (get this). internet addiction!

@INatalkaI Legalizing won't increase the use, if they want to be "couch potato marijuana losers" then they already are. In places where it's already legal (netherlands) the amount of people smoking is lower then there are in the USA. Marijuana is already so easy to get making it legal won't make it any easier, it might even make it harder because you'll need to know someone of the age limit to get it for you.

I would love to relax and burn one while enjoying the evening...but because I have a CDL driving permit I cannot..If I am tested in a random way or in an accident that is not my fault, but still tested ..I will go to jail...its a madhouse.........

What I don't understand is.It is illegal to use marijuana in any manner,eaten,smoked what have you.yet there are no side effects(other than hunger).yet if you watch television they sell drugs with side effects such as Heart attack,rectal bleeding,and even death...So its don't use marijuana,but ask your doctor about htis drug that my acually kill you or worse mane you for life.I mean damn people remember PHEN PHEN,from something they're doctor perscribed..
