its not the fact that they are endangered because of their numbers, its that their habitat (ice sheets) are melting more and more earlier as the years progress. The ice sheets are their only way to hunt seal effectively, and with the ice sheets melting too fast they won't be able to hunt for enough food to hibernate.

from a very educated point of view, i can tell you that global warming is a fact. The earth is getting hotter on average. How much? about 1.5 degrees celcius. Now, the reasons why this is happening... that is the debate. Is the human a participant? yes. Is it a natural process? Very much so.

Really? My college has the second best science program in the state. The thing is it is about 1/2 a degree on average around the earth. That is not much. Global warming is just a way to make people fear about nothing and distract them from real problems. Like what about the starving children in Africa? Even dealing with pollution and cancer is more fruitful then making up hogwash theories that will not happen.

I'm outraged because so much time and money is spent, trying to help animals instead of our own! I know I love animals, I volunteer at the local animal shelters every once in a while but how about taking care of our own first? There are people dying because they can't get to water, WATER FOR FUCKS SAKE! And these people are worried about bears? its not the fact that they are endangered because of their numbers, its that their habitat (ice sheets) are melting more and more earlier as the years progress. The ice sheets are their only way to hunt seal effectively, and with the ice sheets melting too fast they won't be able to hunt for enough food to hibernate.

actually you do not seem to understand diffusion, increased precipitation may lead to flooding, not where i live for certain (not that that is an excuse to not care) but water vapour does diffuse somewhat, therefore it will snow... and be frozen in the arctic and antarctic where it will be stuck until the earth heats up 50 or so degrees C so that it can melt :/ and the earth is not heating up 50 or so degrees...
alternatively continental drift will bring antarctica closer to the equator again.
