No matter how many times I watch Titanic, I still cringe and cross my fingers so that the iceberg wont hit it and everyone will be okay :) Haha Imma dork :D
@1Altosaxplayer no he really did die. his family sued because they portrayed him in such a bad way. like how he was shooting a bunch of people before he shot himself
@1Altosaxplayer He did die, and his decendent sued them because Murdoch was a hero in real life, he stayed on the ship to the very last to release lifeboats, but they portrayed him as a man who shot a passenger and committed suicide in guilt, which he claimed was damaging Murdoch's heroic reputation.
I just thought of the most amazing thing. A future version of the titanic, the Titanium. And instead of a boat it's a space shop and it's losing oxygen instead of being flooded. Romance action and suspense just like the original.
@OurGenerationsStuff I feel like everyone would die more quickly because well, the lack of oxygen pretty much kills everyone no matter what whereas in the Titanic Rose lived and Jack survived for longer than some of the other passengers because the water didn't kill them right away.
James Horner is great with his work. If you like him, check out James Newton Howard. He is amazing. He did the music for the newer Peter Pan movie. Which was "eh" alright I guess. But it has nothing on Hook!
I love the synthesizer in these songs. If you have a copy of the soundtrack on CD, in the front insert there is a writeup that James Cameron did that explains the synthesizer is one of the major tools that was used to "bridge the gap of time" to make the viewing experience that much more real for everyone. It shows that the people in the 1900s era aren't so very different from us today, as far as fears, human nature, etc.
@RetroVideoFan Captain Smith, First Officer Murdoch and Sixth Officer Moody all lost their lives on that fateful night! Along with Chief Officer Henry Wilde.
I love this tume. Whenever listening to it I get the feeling of something great, something majestic and something legendary. This song IS the Titanic in a musical shape.
When the music starts to build up while the propeller begins to rotate is among my favorite parts - it recharges in a manner up to the grand ship Titanic really was, and still is.
I wish more people would remember the actuall ship Titanic and not only the movie!
