Hey Mikey... I've been lurking on your videos for almost two years now and I want to thank you for putting in all this extra work to help others out. I was going to suggest... if you haven't already done it: When you do your room spin or any dimmer/chase effect, don't specify a starting color. Just set the scene up using only the dimmer channel changes. That way you can easily set the color of the pars to whatever you want without having to stack colors onto a pre-set solid color.
Mike.... love the turorials... I am trying to use this with my Qspot575 lights... I upload the profile and pretty much follow your steps but i cant get the lights in the 3D mod to do anything.. I was wondering if you had a quick scene file you could share with me that i could upload and take a look at... even if its a simple as a light turning on and off?
@PermanonUSA when your in the fixture mode make sure you have the Icon that looks like a pice of truss change it to a moving head and you will see it in the room
Great basics! If you don't hit the "insert step" and hit the icon to the right of that one you won't have to think in reverse, or backwards. I appreciate all these videos, they're very informative. Can you do another one on the live page? I hate the drop down box, but you have tabs. Horizontaly How did you do that. Also can you do a video on importing/exporting/backups.
Thanks Mikey Mike! Quick question. Is there any way to make a batch change to the step duration? In other words, if you have, say, 12 steps that each have a duration of 1 second, can you select all 12 steps and change them to .5 seconds at once? You could very quickly make a variety of effects by simply batch altering the length of each step at once. I've tried, but for the life of me can't figure out a way to do this. Thanks!
@directsound i want to do what you do eventually, but still im not getting enough money for DJ gigs, i actually get more money for photo booth gigs all by themselves, and sadly i have to go where the money is... oh well keep up the videos, happy new year!
