When I first heard this song, it was on my iPod (my friend put it there) and I was on a bus. So when the rain-noises started at the end I was really confused, because I thought it was actually raining but I couldn't see any rain outside the window! ^.^
The lyrics are amazing and I love it because not only does is have a sad tone to it but it could mean other things as well. I love Laura, she's fantasticcccc
I didn't think it was a very good movie but it's a little annoying when people say "It's terrible, it's not like it's *insert their favorite movie here*"
People have a right to their opinion. If teenage girls adore it, leave them be. At least they are reading SOMETHING.
She has an amazing voice and amazing lyrics. She doesn't need all the bells and whistles to have a good song. Not everyone can pull off making such stripped down music.
Man I just love her songs. I feel as if I have been looking for her music subconsciously or something. But I'm glad I made it here. Now I can't stop listening to each and everyone of her music.
And I got thumbs downed for it haha. I wasn't even insulting 'Twilight', just saying I'm sick of every band or film or book I like being related to it.
I wish people would stop making everything relate to 'Twilight' now. Can't we just all acknowledge this is a really good song as it stands and leave it at that?
robert pattinson shouts out to Laura Marling in an interview... saying he gave some of her songs to Catherine Hardwick because they reminded him of twilight... this is one that reminds me of Edward... agree?
I only heard this song the other day and liked it, then I just watched it again and (it sounds stupid but) realised I can relate..kinda to the lyrics; it's a nice song anyway.
i agree with you on the loving laura part, but have to disagree on the charts idea. usually (but not always) going mainstream kind of takes away the "special" feeling of an artist, not trying to be rude at all though
Nah, you're not generic. And it isn't just you either... good grief, I've just realised that this song is happening to me right now. With two different people.
one of my favorites by her <3

you see this is what female singers should be singing! Not singing "baby baby baby oh!"

the beauty of not knowing.
its better to form your own opinions
because in reality it may not have the same intensity.

I love how people say that its "plain"
No one can appreciate simplicity anymore.

I don't mind people reffering it to twilight, if it gets her recognised then its fine because she deserves every bit of attention she gets.
I've been following her for a while now, this is definately one of her best. One of the best albums i've heard.

a) What does that have to do with my original comment?
b) Isn't a plane a vehicle?

Finally someone understands. It's so annoying, I think that book has the worse fanbase ever.
geekintheblue 3 years ago 5
Yes! I think it's perfectly fine to like something and say it is cool, but to act like it's 'Citizen Kane' or something. I mean, come on.
That said, the guy is quite pretty.
DontGoQuietly 3 years ago
LOL! Citizen Kane sucked too.

I know I shouldn't be cheap and not want to pay the $0.79 for this song... but I don't like buying things over internet.
