  • Im so happy 4 u. I chopped mine off & mi friends were so madd bt I was simply tired of relaxing mi hair & I've been natural for 2 months lol & I'm plannin on stayin dat way... I don't wat to go back to relaxer lol...I got mi sexxi thick, kinky, beautiful hair. I do hav a colection of wigs & half wigs... Its fun 2 switch it up.

  • the face @ 2:48 is priceless ^_^

  • Sounds like we have the same hair type....circles that get caught in other circles lol :)

  • Your hair is long enough for a really cute natural twist out. Just wet it, use your favorite leave in and once you reach the ends, use gel and it will look like kinky twists. The gel causes the ends to follow a more uniform wave/curl pattern... I found that when I stopped covering my natural...oddly enough, it seemed like it grew quicker... Another nice protective style are crochet braids. Those can be worn 2 months at a time and your hair grows really well in those.

  • try detangling your hair while it has conditioner is in it.

  • at 0:58 did you say your husband..&your boyfriend?

  • no she said her house mate and her boyfriend.lol house mate is what you may call a roomie or room mate.

  • Yeah I think that's what I did. But I worked on my damaged hair and was doing good before then and I can do it again.

  • its been just over a year 13 months

  • havent used heat in my hair since jan 2009 which is why my hair is growing 1 and a half inches a month

STAY AWAY FROM HEAT IF YOU ARE GROWING YOUR NATURAL HAIR IT SPEEDS UP YOUR GROWTH PLANS TRUST ME WASH YOUR HAIR AND AIR DRY

  • What products are you using to moisturize?

  • Yeh she said housemate.. its coz of the accent

  • I thought i was the only one who heard it..lol

  • lol House mate and boyfriend, 1 mans trouble enough!

  • can u do a close up on what your hair looks like when its newly washed. I'm tryna figure out which type of hair i got n it seems like you and me have similar hair. I got a sligt a wave pattern in it when its wet but it looks like your hair when dry. i think its a 4a..maybe...or b???

  • i had the same problem untill i got rid of my combs. i just finger comb now and make sure i get it wet every single day. i have alot less knots and split ends. i also have more moisture and shine. i have 4b hair btw :)

  • ok so... i have cornrows rigth now.. what would you suggest, if I want to keep them in for 4 weeks.Should i wash them or something? HELP! lol

  • yay! a UK natural hair chic!

    Where have you been lol!...

*going through your vids* lol :)

  • Hey if your from the UK and your natural join British curlies! Its a really cool website! :)

  • Love your accent! Keep it growing...

  • LOve ur accent!!

  • Try the bonding method instead of blow drying.....

After you wash ur hair, section ur hair into pony tails. And tie hair bands all they way down each pony tail....It stretches ur hair with out the heat

  • very good idea ill be trying this very soon. thanks!

  • lol I so feel you on the knotted ends!

  • did you say 'my husband and my boyfriend"?

    Love the hair though!!

  • lol it sounds like it, I was saying "house mate"

  • did the boundless tresses help? are you still using it?

  • just keep deep conditioning and leave in that might help with the knots check out "rustic beauty" channel might be the same hair type.

  • I can't wait to see you progress. If you are going to use heat make sure to you are using a really good heat protectant. Invest in a ionic blow dryer that has a cool setting and ceramic iron. Good luck!
