Okay, the skeleton unto itself is 'complete' problem lies on the powerback, right now it lasts 30minutes tops before it runs out of juice and requires a long time to recharge, if they find a way to increase the 'reactor capacity' to at least 3 hours, they can proceede to the mission phase where they field test it more, before combat suitability testing. Even with a fuel cell they wouldnt beable to have enough speed to run around and im certain those are not 100% bullet proof, 2. Unless they have a built in AC they are going to have a heat stroke or be so hot they will just ditch the thing, and 3. something of that size would not be "Ideal" for a soldier it is just to big to have the ability to move fast enough their is no way they could survive the nonstop fire.
Still think about the posibilites. While you re correct on reduced mobility, imagine breaching a building with that thing if they armor plate it.. the suit will allow the user to carry heavy weaponery (heavy machineguns, maybe even a minigun9 and with fully bulletproof plated armor breaching a building will be so much easier.
Im still certain it would be useless, your moving decade's ahead of where they are at. Also I dont think that suit is made for combat, it looks more like a training suit. Kind of like how people buy weights for their ankles, wrists, torso, just something to get them in shape by working out in a heavy suit.

I find it sad that you know very little about your own Military, They do need Air Support, they have what is needed, they need the Ammunition to re-supply these planes, Very little amount of tanks are needed, simply because there is very few tanks on the opposing side of which air support can take out if needed, considering they have AC-130's which are quite accurate, much more then a tank would be.
The soldiers are often found doing absolutely nothing and are often finding there is no need for their service in their 3 or so years, which shows that there are too many men over there doing nothing. The money they spend on the F22-Raptors for this year being the amount of 187 of them, that will not and have not been used in either Iraq or Afganistan for the whole duration could easily go into 100+ soldiers that will cause less casualty on civilians, and do a better job. even 100 isnt needed.

Air support plays a huge role in winning wars/destroying the other side, but ground support(the mass number of soldiers and the tanks) is what keeps the other side at bay so the Stealth Bombers, F-22 Raptors, and w/e they have can bomb them.
the suit has servo motors that move the arms and legs with sensors (possibly 3d accelerometers) to detect movement and assist the user (soldier, civilian) in any action he/se performs, meaning with the suit on they can do more than they could do by themselves without it

to be honest it was only a matter oftime before science fiction became science fact, this idea has been around for a very very long time, im suprised it has taken this long to adapt our technology to fabricate one of these, wars WILL be fought with these in the next century (providing mankind doesnt nuke its self first)

In the end of the film "Aliens" Ripley uses a cargo loader to defeat the queen alien.The loader she used was an actual industrial machine that was manufactured in the 70-80's for loading in confined spaces,for the film they just added a few props to the machine,as forklifts got smaller the exo went out of production,good idea but slow and heavy,this is supposed to be a newer version of it,but it still needs a power pack and hoses to drive it.

Okay, the skeleton unto itself is 'complete' problem lies on the powerback, right now it lasts 30minutes tops before it runs out of juice and requires a long time to recharge, if they find a way to increase the 'reactor capacity' to at least 3 hours, they can proceede to the mission phase where they field test it more, before combat suitability testing. Provided no unwanted supprises comes around (IE Obama demands project termination).

:P lol their is no way they are going to use these out in Iraq/Afghanistan 1. Even with a fuel cell they wouldnt beable to have enough speed to run around and im certain those are not 100% bullet proof, 2. Unless they have a built in AC they are going to have a heat stroke or be so hot they will just ditch the thing, and 3. something of that size would not be "Ideal" for a soldier it is just to big to have the ability to move fast enough their is no way they could survive the nonstop fire.

Still think about the posibilites. While you re correct on reduced mobility, imagine breaching a building with that thing if they armor plate it.. the suit will allow the user to carry heavy weaponery (heavy machineguns, maybe even a minigun9 and with fully bulletproof plated armor breaching a building will be so much easier.

Im still certain it would be useless, your moving decade's ahead of where they are at. Also I dont think that suit is made for combat, it looks more like a training suit. Kind of like how people buy weights for their ankles, wrists, torso, just something to get them in shape by working out in a heavy suit.

Yes, and you said it increases their strength, I said it is like how people buy weights for their ankles, wrists, and torso. Such as the Torso Weight Vest they put it on and work out in it to increase strength or speed. Also said that is kind of like what the suit is for their working out with it adds a little weight when they are doing their training and it will increase their strength. Even with the suit powered on with the "plugin" they have to use a little more effort to move it.

Currently the US Military is spending on more then what is needed, and the money could be used on protecting soldiers and making them much more stronger, which of course would be used in Iraq.

I find it sad that you know very little about your own Military, They do need Air Support, they have what is needed, they need the Ammunition to re-supply these planes, Very little amount of tanks are needed, simply because there is very few tanks on the opposing side of which air support can take out if needed, considering they have AC-130's which are quite accurate, much more then a tank would be.

The soldiers are often found doing absolutely nothing and are often finding there is no need for their service in their 3 or so years, which shows that there are too many men over there doing nothing. The money they spend on the F22-Raptors for this year being the amount of 187 of them, that will not and have not been used in either Iraq or Afganistan for the whole duration could easily go into 100+ soldiers that will cause less casualty on civilians, and do a better job. even 100 isnt needed.

Stealth Bombers cost $1 bill each, the stealth bombers can carry 2 MOP's that is worth $88 mill. Spending $88 mill an airstrike with MOP's is alot of money. Back to the main point, the mech suits are not needed. The large amount of soldiers is, 1. Air support plays a huge role in winning wars/destroying the other side, but ground support(the mass number of soldiers and the tanks) is what keeps the other side at bay so the Stealth Bombers, F-22 Raptors, and w/e they have can bomb them.

the suit has servo motors that move the arms and legs with sensors (possibly 3d accelerometers) to detect movement and assist the user (soldier, civilian) in any action he/se performs, meaning with the suit on they can do more than they could do by themselves without it
