  • Is it ok to glue the rudder to the canopy?

  • CAN SOME ONE TELL ME IF I CAN USE .90 MARINE OUTBOARD 4 CYCLE NITRO JET 4 CYCLE ENGINE ON THIS PLANE?

  • Insanely weird clip

  • stop smoking meth dude

  • Good video thanks

  • Nice job Scott !

  • This should be used as a how-to video on how not to make how-to videos. Fail.

  • @sailcat9 a how-to-not video! the yellling doesn't fit his stupid haircut either. clip-clip-clip-clip-clip-clip, the only thing he forgot to clip was his damn hair. And STFU! Gues that what happens when searching youtube on hawksky.

  • why the fuck is that idiot yelling all the time..

  • @marlonbrando007 Low life language :-(

  • What a about the mega jet on the hawk sky?

  • Better to mount ESC inside with plenty of air circulation. Stock ESC's on Hawk sky should be replaced as they tend to fail. Mine did so on the maiden flight. I upgraded to a 36A so it would run cooler inside.

I made my own plywood motor mount from 1/4" marine ply..

Purchased most everything from Grayson. Even a second Hawk Sky!

  • ultrajet combo worked great .. 6/4 prop

  • Wow Dave.... This hobby is keeping you young! LOL... :)

  • What Hex wrench do you use to unscrew the motor from the engine mount

  • So How am I suppose to make that wooden mount?

  • @youronlycow We sell those at Grayson Hobby dot com

  • can someone tell me if a 5000kv brushless motor is too much for the Hawk sky? or a 3000kv is also too much. because i can get a 35 amp ESC along with a 5000kv or 3000kv motor please answer :)

  • would the 480/500 outrunner work on the hawksky from grayson? i am using my hawksky to record videos but i also wont a motor that has POWER and il looking for a flight time around 10-15min. I im using 11.1v 20c 2200mah lipo but the stock motor still lacks the power i wont. any ideas on better motor combo?

  • hahahaha your not santa clause lol xD

  • lol XD "dayyyypron" sounds like day porn

  • BILLY MAYS HERE, FOR RC POWERS!

  • hey what angle should the foam strips be..angled down or level with the bottom of the wing??

  • Oh Very Nice! Scott's funny too...

  • what is an esc???

  • @AirForcedude5 Electric Speed Controller. You need it to control the Motor.

  • hey reply me man... You talked about upgrading, but what does it do? what does longer rudder, elevator etc do? and the stronger motor what does it do?

  • i have a 4ch hawk sky..and i just got the mjv3..do you need a bec too???

  • @badgolf1 No u don't. the esc has a built in BEC, so it wont be neccessary

  • @rcplanesofma24 THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!

  • Will elmers stick glue hold the motor? Im too cheap to buy real glue. Oh wait, I ate the glue while building the witch.

  • @graysonhobby I'm too cheap to buy most "brand name" stuff but I buy Hot Glue. You should buy real glue. Oh wait, you're GraysonHobby, and it's a joke!(and so was mine....after I saw your username LOL)

  • what prop did you use?

  • I have 2 doubts..

1-With that wood motor support , can the motor be bolted/unbolted or one has to rip the glue every time the motor has to be changed for any reason? (screws will not "chew" good to the wood forever)

2-The enlarging ailerons looks easier than cut out new larger ones.. apart from rolling .. how does that affect the rest of the flight envelop? (normal flight, gliding .. etc)

  • What size are those 'hex screws' on the motor mount @ :12 Mine came out....and i need more :(

  • how do you buy the hawk sky with no electronics? i already have a transmitter and receiver.

  • how do you buy the hawk sky with no electronics?

  • Hey scott

i am puttting my FIRST!!!!! microjet v3 on my hawk sky and i have 2 questions

    1. Would a 30 amp esc work with the microjet?

2.Am i supposed to glue the wings on with the new motor, because dave said dont glue your wings on, but with all the speed from the motor i dont know if they would stay on?

  • hi great vid, i am looking for the microjet v3, wooden adapter, 30a esc, and a couple of props all for my hawk sky can you put a package together for me and do you post to the uk.

  • great vid, nice work scott.

  • BTW....I, for one, LOVE the "infomercial" style of the new vids. I am getting really sick of videos that are of a great upgraded plane or scratchbuild flying/crashing but we never get to see HOW it was done.....the good stuff!

  • Great job Scott hope to see you making more videos!! Your better than Dave at least you are making rc vids

  • so I am upgrading my hawksky, with the parkjet supersonic brushless combo package from grayson.. my question is what prop do I use? The originals? I want to get one from grayson too, but it obviously has to be a pusher prop... right? New to all this so go easy on me... so which pusher prop is best for my application? All help is appreciated!

  • @rele30 That motor is built for the 6x4, you can get the "pusher" or regular APC 6x4, the only true difference is one is made to turn clockwise and the other counter-clockwise. They BOTH can be used for this, just always make sure the 6x4 letters on the prop face the direction the airplane is traveling. If you need anymore help e-mail me: RCSPowers.ScottL@gmail.com Thanks and good luck!

  • nice job scott

  • Scott, you are awesome. Don't let the haters discourage you from doing what you love. What I don't get is when people watch your videos and say " Dave is better". Well, these aren't daves videos, they are yours and they're awesome.

  • YOURE NOT DAVE!

  • @shoopwhoopX AND YOURE NOT SANTA CLAUSE!

  • @shoopwhoopX Of course he´s not Dave dummy he´s Scott :-(

  • Glad to see you guys are still doing videos! Does your hawk sky have a big weight in the nose, cause mine does

  • Hey its Scott Lott the hippie! Great to see you again and good job on the video! I put a 2826/6 super mega-jet on my HS. I needed to shim the motor up to keep the plane from nosediving when you throttle up. DId you need to with the parkjet?

  • Maybe just a bit too much Redbull.

  • You could be the new Sham-wow guy.Nice video! Micro Mike

  • R u turnin into Billymays

  • You need a hair cut, Scott

  • Could you show the hole in the hatch again? Because I think I missed it.

  • think you could talk any louder?

  • niiice, I already did the aileron extension... but need the motor upgrade now. Thanks a bunch...

  • only a 2 min video???!!!

  • @CptEagle87 Thank for reply! I am checking to see if 6x4 fit on Hawk Sky so it cool about ur Wild Hawk mod.

  • This guy reminds me of Billy Mays.

  • @DasBulk Just thinking that

  • Now what?

  • Great vid dude!

  • Great! I just mounted my microjet v3 without the mount because I couldn't find the template, then a week later Scott goes and makes a video about it. But its good to see the team working on RC stuff and not glorified squeegees... :D

  • Are u using APC Thin Electric 5.5 x 4.5 Reverse Rotation ? I am deaf and can't catch what u said about the size of the props. ;-)

  • @jplummer72 He didn't say anything about prop size, but I have the Wild Hawk with a 2200kv motor on it as well and use a 6x4 prop with success.

  • yay - moar RCPowers videos!! :D

  • I did what you said ..... it flew straight into the ground !!!! thanks guys

  • @Imbefuddeled Wait, do I pull up to go up? Or is down up?

  • holy crap... nice to see ya back scott, i think we all bve expecting those rad music vids u were so good at doing lol, reat job

  • i think you're all crazy.

  • good to have you back

  • I have small screws that are 0.4325345234 x .02342342342. Will those work??? plz rspnd.

  • @RCSuperPowers No,you need: 0.4325345235 x .02342342343. This is very critical.

  • @RCSonicjet Ha! Glad someone got the jokey-joke!

  • @RCSuperPowers hey .......i got it too.........

  • @RCSuperPowers when the hell will you make another video?

  • @RCSuperPowers Oh, what a shame! The correct screws are 0.4325345234 x .02342342343, or you might also use a 0.4325345233 x .02342342342 or a 0.4325345232 x .02342342342. You can purchase these by the case or by the pallet at Simon's Screw Supply on Seventh and Sixteenth in Setauket.

  • @Killerplanes lol @ by the pallet

  • hey alright!

  • No offence but it kind of reminds me of the ads with billy mays in them! You should make it like them and then it would be really funny! still great though

  • Dude, you've got a microphone and it's saved to the video, no need to shout that I can actually hear you over here! :D

  • Wait... I don't have a hex head.

  • @RCSuperPowers perfect

  • I was wanting to put the other motor on it, the ParkJet Combo 2212-06 V2 Super-Sonic Brushless Combo.... would that give me more power? Any help as I am a total newb!

  • @rele30 ya that would work but easy u could snape the wings

  • @laithsrc thanks for thr tip, that means I get to clip the wings as I had wanted too. LOL!

  • woahhh...first view :P
