I'm not seeing the point this video is attempting to make. You sing kudos to a solution that allows for the video viewport to get stuck in to one place on screen, while you're moving the container around. It's different, but hardly any better. I simply don't see the point.
The Video not updating until he lets go of the mouse button is just a side effect of using such a technology.
As is the inability to snap a picture of the video.
the View 4.6 side is showing that the video is being completely rendered in software on the server before being transmitted to a dumb PCoIP terminal/client.
Would have been interesting to add is to have Task Manager running on the right hand side showing CPU load at same time.
Probably should comment on this video. In this test I changed the Citrix client to be a much stronger client. In my Part1 video I used a low end thin client (called a Zero Client) that "supported HDX" but in truth it only supported a small subset of HDX technologies. In this video I just use my laptop running the Citrix receiver. As such I get all the HDX benefits so the video looks a ton better. You will see me drag the screen around, this is to show that the video is being MMR'd.
