@andy7418 The river thames isn't a dirty river, in fact it is one of the cleanest in the UK. It only looks brown due to the mud on the bottom.

i jumped of ktown bridge 3 years ago and missed a pair of trolleys by a foot or 2...have a GOOD look before you jump!

Yeah my mum jumped off Kinston bridge for a laugh and I pulled her out. Sadly she wasn't alive.

I work on the Thames lifeboat. In the past 6 years, we've pulled a lot of people out of the river, often at Kingston Bridge, after they'd gone in for a laugh. Sadly, some of them weren't alive when we got them.

Looks fun but you really don't understand how dangerous it is.

I knew a lovely girl, aged 20, who jumped from the same height off a cliff into the sea in 1999. I still know her. She's still lovely. But she landed badly on the water and broke her spine. She can walk slowly now with crutches, but mostly uses a wheelchair. She was in the women's wheelchair basketball team at the Athens Paralympics in 2004. Might make Beijing too. True story.
