All the actors, IMHO, are superb in AA. The writing & direccion are excellent. Litzy did an Academy Award (Oscar) level performance. It looks like the borrowed the cream of acting talent from the Argentines -- it was made in Argentina. Carla Peterson is a wonderfully good actriz. The kids are great.

Thanks for telling me about Autumn's Concerto; never heard of it. The unique thing about AA is Day 0, Este Maldita Noche. What happened that night? Was Margarita drug-raped? Did she take a drug that made her completely disinhibited & also erase her memory of what happened? The Mystery of Day 0 from which Margarita wud be forever enamored w/ Nacho & also have a baby, seems unique. And the viewers debate what happened furiously.

I checked out Autumn's Concerto on Wickedpedia. It looks to me like there is more diff between the stories than what u think. Amarte Asi, of course, came out in 2005, which I think is long before AC, which I find mostly listed as "Autmumn's Concerto" (no i as in Concierto) Is that the one?

I guess I wud need a more detailed synopsis to compare the 2 better.

Amarte Asi is a melodrama with lots of comedy. To enjoy it, think of it as a comedy. It has a wonderful balance of comedy & sentimentality. The structure is cyclical (about 9 cycles). Margarita in a snit vs. Nacho, Margarita melts, Margarita's love blazes for Nacho, Margarita goes back into anger-snit for some causus belli. This happens about 9 times.

Concept of Amarte Asi (Frijolito!) Go to the AA forum of Telenovela-World. com for comprehensive info. Margarita lost her virginity to Nacho 6 years before the story begins. Was it drug rape? He disappeared for 6 years & now has returned. Margarita has rabia (furious anger) in her soul for Nacho, because he knocked her up & disappeared. But she also has been in love with him since first sight! Nacho doesn't remember Margarita when he returns & doesn't know that he has a son by her.
