Their was pretty much nothing but dating sims, hentai, and niche action/jrpgs for the pc-fx. I'll stick with the pc engine and the fact that it had literally 10 times the quality of the game library the FX had.
You know, if it hadnt been for the all-japanese text and all that, this would've totally sold me on the PC-FX! The music is really nice, and the backdrops are beautiful!
LOL, you mean the hentai ones? haha jk. Yeah, at first it's all goblins but as you get into the game, the bosses get bigger and cooler it's just the beginning that's a bit slow. If you want though, I can go back to the dirty games :D
Oh wow so the PC-FX can actually do physics and you know... sprite based graphics! I thought it was just another you know.... CD-I! Overgrown VCD player! What a strange system from NEC. Too bad it didn't take off with more games.
Yeah, it's actually a little bit more then just a beta dvd player. I wish it had more games like this for sure cause if these were the majority then this thing would have stayed around for a lot longer for sure.
I remember shitting myself when I first played this on an emulator. This game showed plenty of potential this under appreciated system had.
Do you recognize the names of any of the seiyuus? Every Instruction book for a PC-FX game showcases the voice actors in glossy pages. I figure Hudson hired some top notch voice talent for their games.
If I may make a recommendation, Miraculum: The last revelation. Its in my possession, but I haven't played yet. Looks like another RPG for the PC-FX.
Yeah, I think that if more games like this were made for the system it might have kept it afloat for a while but they didn't. Some of the actors I can recognize but not always. from before my time here and I'm not too sure. Miraculum sounds pretty good, I'll see if I can hunt it down. I think you need yourself a pcfx for sure.
Its a complete bitch to play games on the PCFX emulator I use. Its from the same makers of the magic machine (PC-engine emulator). You get a 5 minute limit everytime you boot it up. Its such a kick to the balls to see your game cut abruptly. XD
I find the purchase entirely pointless. You don't have to do that when you can save state and load it. That actually resets the timer. It's monotonous but it saves me money!
Are the games hundreds of dollars in Japan? On ebay you have to pay alot of money for almost every game.

Looks sweet! I don't suppose you could play this without knowing Japanese?

"Kick some arse" eh Luke, bit of britsh going on there??? :P
Doesn't look half bad actually! Not going to shell out for a PC-FX over one game though :P

You should start a hentai game collection.

Looks seriously good!
I always looked at the PC-FX and thought it was an awesome looking system.
Now you just have to find another game like this! :D

Not too bad for the PCFX I must say. It is a bit more impressive then some of the other games I've played for it.

Looks a little repetitive. It's like goblin fight on right of screen all the time.
I think I prefered the other games, seemed more interesting lol

I think everyone can agree, looking at japanese text in a game you dont understand just doesnt work as entertainment lol

Looks like the monsters toss money at you every time you whack them. It is like they pay you for hurting them lol

Yeah, the original title of it was "Celtic pimpin' ain't easy" but they decided to change it at the last minute .

True on that, bro. I do have games that I don't have the system for. I have punchball Mario brothers for the sharp X1 computer.

U have to buy the emulator to remove the limit, the same thing with the Magic Engine-a kick to the balls and wallet.

Yes that is one way...or... you can surpass the limit by doing a certain other thing! Not what I mentioned before. :)

Whoa, I liked it!
Cool graphics, but the battles look repetitive!

Yeah, it's a bit repetitve but soo much better then what I've been playing on it until now. thanks man.
