  • Well Its very interesting to see all these comments on this video. I am the main characters' granddaughter. As for the sueing comment, definately not true. He did acting as a hobbie. Nothing but an amazing man! He did do great work! He was a charmer :)

  • I don't buy the lawsuit story.

  • We were watching the DVD box set when this unexpected gem popped up. Wow! I could barely breath! Just brilliant! Rest in Peace Brock Wayne!!! Great work, bro!

  • Brock used to be a Store Manager with the LCBO. (the last time I saw him was early '90's at the store in Union Station). We used to play old-timers hockey together, and trust me.....he never sued KITH over this portrayal. He knew exactly the role he was supposed to play here......and delivered another one of his stellar performances !!

  • Thats how I walk around town...just like that.

  • He is actor Brock Curley.....passed away last week.R.I.P. Brock.

  • @regent8055 But I bet he is the best looking corpse in the cemetary...

  • I remember watching this when it originally aired and laughing our asses off, never forgot it either! Now that I think of it, he looks sort of like George Bush Jr.! LOL

  • 'Bim Bam Baby', Frank Sinatra, 1952.

  • He looks like a fat Mel Gibson.

  • Ive actually seen this guy on the street in Toronto a few times....(doesnt actually walk that way though)....i was dissapointed!!

  • That's totally Dave singing. :)

  • That's actor Brock Curley as The Best Looking Man In The World. He's clearly acting a part, not just some guy walking down the street that they secretly filmed.

  • "Come come baby z-big bam boom

I've got to clim clam clean up the rim ram room." Haven't forgotten this sketch in 20 years. KITH and UCSB - Best time of my life!

  • Don't hold me to this, but apparently the guy who sings this, according to one of the Shadowy Men, is George Westerholm of a comedy duo called Al + George. This is all hearsay, though.

However, in my mind, I shall still imagine that Dave sings this. Just because it's nicer that way.

  • @rephilia You heard that from the 'KitH' Season 2 commentary from Dave?

  • I need to find out who sang this. In the beginning it sounds like Dave, and I'm really hoping it is him singing since that just puts another point up on his tally of awesomeness.

  • The man resembles Nick Nolte to me.

  • At 0:11-0:14 the red sign that says Mt. Pleasent is right where I live! Its a small theatre that plays movies on Mt. Pleasent street. Its so cool to see your neighbourhood on tv:)

  • @Skellington383

I know!!! I live a bit north of mount pleasent, it's so cool while watching this show and knowing where stuff was shot (:

  • It sounds like Dave says he's the best looking man in the world.

  • I always though Mark said it and sang it.

  • No, it's definitely a character actor. Unfortunately, I can't remember his name.

  • This guy is my style hero and my mission in life is to emulate him as completely as possible.

  • I loved The Kids In The Hall, and this sketch is hilarious. Bim Bam Baby is off the chain, and the concentration curler is sidesplitting.

  • He's an actor, where did you hear he tried to sue them? thats weird.

  • sad to hear the guy was pissed off... this was always one of my fav sketches... great music, and I thought the guy was having fun just acting like he was having a few mid life crisis issues!!

Its always funny when a guy reaches that age where he looks at a beautiful young woman, and realizes he is old enough to be her father.... and THEN some!

  • One of my favorites!

  • what did he think was goign to happen? They asked him to strut like a doofus, right?

  • I think I see a familial resemblance to W.

  • shit, sorry, the taped part with Dave is on the DVD version. I was just listening to it trying to place the voice & I don't know why I'm telling you all this, it's quite embarrassing, actually.

  • This may be a stupid question, but does anyone know who is singing 'Bim Bam Baby' in this? I know it's Frank Sinatra originally, but who is this? It's really fucking good. I love the taped snippet at the end of Dave walking backwards with the Elvis Costello shades on! He rocks! ;)

  • Sorry people, just to clear things up, I was trying to respond to a previuos post asking about a skit where a kid challenges the Devil, it was the Bobby vrs the Devil skit.

  • One of their best cutaway bits! And the Shadowy Men are amazing!! They should be more famous.

  • I thought it was William Shatner in character.

  • Yes. -but Scott Thompson says "This is the best lookin' man in the world!" Listen for the lisp. Not making fun!!... just the truth.

  • At 00:38... LMFAO! It couldn't be more prefect. My other favorite: when Bruce fights the BIG-ASS Guy in the bar/alley and Kevin keeps egging him to get up. HA HA HAAA!

  • what a strut.

  • I see this guy walking about Toronto sometimes...

  • Wow, Nick Nolte's put on a lot of weight!

  • And in this he actually looks sober..

  • ok...this vid isn't playing. it just loads.....

  • I always thought that was Mark McKinney singing... love the sketch.

  • so,is this really the best looking man in the world?

  • sadly yes. that's all there is. now go kill yourself.

  • If someone has the KITH skit where a guy has a guitar battle with satan in his garage please post it. I think the D may have "borrowed" that idea from them.

  • That's the one I've been looking for as well. Another one was when Scott sold his jean jacket to the devil for big bud dreads.

  • I can tell you that one is called Bobby vrs the Devil...

  • Nice! Check out the spiderman version:

    ?v=wCwdWY1MNSU

  • I like how when the woman leaves he has this look on his face like "Whatever baby" lol

  • Yep,that's him.

  • LOL! I have wanted to see this again since I first saw it on KITH years ago! Notice when he smiles he looks like George Bush. Thank you for posting!!!!!!!!

  • that's exactly what I said. that scene was a direct rip off and/or homage. for sure.

  • Did any one see the recent Spiderman 3? They totally copied it.

  • Um, what? I don't know if you're serious, but if you are, this sketch was done in the 90's.

If not, I don't know who you're trying to make fun of.

  • Okay, give it some time. You'll get it.

  • Oh, you were referring to the producers of Spiderman 3 copying this sketch, not vice versa.

    Sorry. :)

  • a classic,

if true: he needs a sense of humour

peace, love ,and an atomic chicken

    the formerly dead,

    DAK
