@weird1tuhan dude u obiously know nothing about killer whales. the dorsal fin diden't slant because he was in captivity too long it was a motor that hit em when he was a calf then the fin grew bac like that. otherwise all orcas wud have slanted fins! but u did get one thing right and im sure everyone wud agree that we will miss u keiko and u shall forever remain wedged in our hearts... this is to everybody whos confused about how he died lol ok i know everything there is to know about orcas aka killer whales so far.. i have this book about famous ppl who died like river phenoux and princess diana lol anyways.. it has keiko in it and it says that he died at the age of 27 by pneumonia cuz he was released into the wild. its no ones fault, he just couldnt take care of him self the way other whales do cuz of the fact that he was captured when he was 2.. so hope i cleared that up :)

The dorsal has no bone structure, so its naturally flexible. The reason why so many Captive orcas have bent dorsals is because they spend more time above water. Yes the gravity and pressure of the water is what keeps that dorsal nice and straight. A bent dorsal just simply means that orca spends more time above water than most.

Missangelswing, this video is amazing. I loved Keiko, he had the Biggest Heart Ever! I wish he didnt have to die, he is such a legend. I want animals to be free, they make our world so beautiful, but Keiko is special I wouldnt have loved whales if it wasnt for him. He came close to mankind to teach them the lesson of to love animal, nature and the wild.
