  • The only ideology that neocons adhere to is that of wealth and power. It is shameful that you would give credence to the idea that these people are freedom lovers at heart Dave.

The intellectual wing of the movement- Krauthammer, Kristol, Brooks, Friedman create an umbrella of good intentions for sociopaths and mass murders like Bush, Cheney, and Rumsfeld.

In the end none of them care about ideology, they just care about getting even richer than they already are.

  • Very helpful analysis, Dave. This is the kind of video I can pass along to friends. Thanks!

  • Sorry but evil is as evil does.

  • Can someone who believes that might makes right be turned from the dark side of force?

As individuals, few people believe it's right to rob, plunder and otherwise enslave their neighbors. The vast majority will say that the Ends do not justify the Means.

But taxation IS slavery, robbery and plunder.

Yet watch if you mention private roads or education how quickly their eyes glaze over, and the rationalizations for big government begin to flow.

  • A considerate commentary, my friend. It is hard to see the faces of the starving Ethiopian children and not feel justified in deposing a genocidal government. The average Conservative thinks, "My freedom of speech may be under attack, but at least I am free to eat." I still adore both Coulter and Krauthammer. They may look at the glass half full, but they are clearly working towards freedom at home.

  • Coulter and Krauthammer "are clearly working towards freedom at home."

    How?

The only thing Coulter cares about is creating a media frenzy over her worthless disgusting books. That's freedom?

Krauthammer gives intellectual cover to sociopaths and mass murderers. He will inhabit a lower ring of hell than Coulter.

    That's freedom?

  • Exactly! I used to believe strongly in Bush, and his foreign policies. However, after reading more and more into the Ron Paul movement, I changed my opinion on a lot of things. Perfect explanation Ridley!

  • I've heard from people in the former Soviet bloc that they believe they had more freedom than American's do. And I've heard from enough of them, and from various representative countries (East Germany, Russia, Romania, and the like) that they just may be right. This is just anecdotal, but it makes one really think...at least it got me to. We're basically living in a Police State at the current time, and so many people are in denial or appear totally oblivious to that fact.

  • With the current 'economic crisis looming over people's heads and affecting so many lives, it HAS had the positive effect of beginning to wake people up and to start looking for the truth.

The neo-conservative movement, which has effectively co-opted our gov't, has a unified agenda that is supported by both of the major parties (call it the "core agenda") which no one can alter. That agenda, of world hegemony, is also commonly referred to as the New World Order - which we ALL must fight..

  • i hear this a lot to but to say that about romania would be pushing it

yeo sin dave en hosptitale de nebun lol

  • The NeoCons support torture. That's a war crime.

  • I used to be a NeoCon, but not anymore.

Typically, a NeoCon is patriotic and reveres the Founders. Quoting Washington or Jefferson on libertarian issues goes along way to opening one's eyes. Reagan's quote: "If you analyze it I believe the very heart and soul of conservatism is libertarianism", can shatter a NeoCon's negative preconceptions about "kooky" libertarians.

It only takes a gentle push to convert a "Neo" into a "Paleo".

Just don't Alex Jones them with conspiracy theories.

  • You make a very good point about the neocons, but I am still going to give em HELL! I hate neocons.

  • I'm there man I'm there.

  • BEST INTRO EVER!!!

    great content too :)

  • oh yes. so true ^^

  • Pretty much described the way I used to think.

By the way Ann Coulter recently said that except for foreign policy she completely agrees with Ron Paul. She said that since the Iraq war would be over by 2012 he would be her choice for President.

  • Wow. I've been watching you for a relatively short time. I'm a New Yorker, and not happy with the path my state is on. I'd say we're probably second only to California in its socialist bent. I respect what NH is doing, and feel at a loss to find the same close to home. This video has really caused me to think about my situation, and in my opinion is your most substantial yet. I think this one will prove profound for many people. Scary, huh? Keep it up!!!!!

  • You're intros are the best.

  • I used to be that neo-con. . . looking back now, I'm disgusted with myself.

  • I get what you're saying, Ridley.

Whenever I gripe about the government there always seems to be someone who pops out of nowhere to tell me, "If you don't like it here then LEAVE!" But where would you go? Out of all of the "developed" nations in the world, I'd say that the USA is still the "most free".

That's why I have to stay and fight.

  • lol, what was up with that wrestling clip

  • it was random awesomeness!
