What I have learned about pet care from internet trolls.

1. If an animal is begging for food IMMEDIATELY run to the kitchen and feed it. Anything less than immediately is abuse.

2. If an animal is begging for attention IMMEDIATELY drop what you are doing and pet it. Annything less than that is abuse.

3. Mamas should not pick up their kids in their mouths and should be discouraged from doing so.

4. Any food other than mass marketed pet food is unacceptable.

I see no shame in looking at your pet(s) begging for food or treats, as long as the pet(s) is (are) healty and well taken care of. I do the same for my cats. Their reactions are funny plain and simple. Animal reaction are sometimes cool. My younger cat "Dora" is standing up on her back legs and touches her paws as if she is trying ti grab something while meowin. Basicaly she doing "la belle" just like a dog that wants something. There are worst treatement, like not taking care of them

I agree with your comments wholeheartedly. After viewing that vid, I got the impression that the poor little kitten was not exactly loved. I, too, heard the disturbing slamming of that bowl on the floor and there was no gentle stroking to comfort the kitten even after it received its food.
