No, I definitely help my son more....but I use the cards more for his sake. I want him to think really hard before he asks to see if he can figure it out before just running to me for help. In that way, I'm hoping it will foster a sense of independence in that as he gets older, he will try to work at analyzing problems or issues....hope that makes sense.
Hi. Your video looks great. I too have done this system for 2 yrs now. But I hope maybe you could clarify for any newbies to the system watching this about the HELP cards? I use them but my son is not limited to only 4 questions a day. I don't want some moms to think they can't help their child more. In public school I'd be so upset if the teacher only let my son ask for help 4 times. I don't mean to sound rude but could you clarify that a bit? I do understand they can abuse the help too though.
