Antonio Cromartie, Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie are over rated they both give up big plays alot. Asomugha had a good but not great season but still cb's avoid him and Samuels even though he cant tackle still is a good cb. Routt had a good year gave up 470 yards even though he get's alot of flags and gave up 6 td's almost all on slants though. The metrics I went off was only up to week 15 so idk about how they did the last 2 weeks.

Flowers and mathis are steady cornerback who occasionally gets burned. Jabri Greer had great numbers after a bad year last year and Finnegan and Grimes have another great year plus Joe haden is up and comming and has done great since he got in the nfl. Samuel's had a great year and did great once the eagles started using him right instead of DRC. Taylor has a great year 98 targets 41 catches 472 yards and 2 td's gave up less yards then revis. Webb didnt give up a td all year.

I played WR in college and have met and trained with some NFL WR's. I personally asked Chad Ocho and Larry Fitzgerald. They both said Champ Bailey is the best overall CB because he has his own style which isn't matched by the rest. Charles Woodson, Nnamdi Asomugh, and the rest of the guys mentioned are up there obviously...even though Revis doesn't really impress me as apparently he does to the rest of you. Also, look out for the up and comer Mccourty from New England.

You can't credibly create this list until you see at least two games of film on each guy, evaluate what defensive schemes they play in, how well they play in them, get their # of passes thrown, also # of passes thrown/number of passes defended.....interceptions, PBUs, return yards/interception, tackles, missed tackles...etc.

Eye in the sky don't lie. I don't care who has the most fans and media hype. Lets see the numbers.

Nnamdi is the best cornerback in the nation hands down. He literally shuts down half of the field, despite having almost no pass rush or run defense in support and weak support in the secondary. Revis was stellar last year, but was just one cog in an all around fantastic defense, which makes his job a hell of a lot easier. Nnamdi also gets almost no press because of the team hes on and because of his relatively low numbers in the interception and tackles category because qbs wont to throw to him
