Cebu pacific ordered A320's costing 2billion dollars and it was a big deal but PAL ordered boeing 777's costing 4 billion dollars. why isn't this in the news?
As a kid I have seen for Cebu Manila, the competing airlines, PAL vs PIATI, then much later in the 90's there was PAL vs. Grand Air, Air Philippines and Cebu Pacific. PAL has withstood Strikes and financial troubles and still around and it looks like Cebu Pacific and Air Philippines have survived this far. Anyone can tell me what happened to Grand Air and PIATI.
I will go for PAL...ayaw ko cebu pacific..kac pilosopo minsan ang Fa sa cebu..
pal mas babait hndi katulad ng CP..so Fly high Philippine Airlines...my unan pa at kumot.. sa PAl..mahal ng foods sa Ceb..100 php. noodles lng yun ah...
ang hirap nang decision I was born here in Edmonton Canada and my parents are from the Phillipines. When i go im takin Phillipines airlines (cant wait) this Christmas. Are there any airports in Bulacan so i can fly to Borracay
Philippine Airlines and Cebu Pacific Love them both I choose to fly Pal on my international flights and I fly with Cebu Pacific for my domestic flights.. Hope CP will expand its international operation and go for long haul route just like PAL. If you want Luxury choose PAL if you want to save money choose CP.
i tried cebu pacific once. nagkakaroon ng turbulence kahit walang clouds. yung mga A320 ng pal, di naman ganung malikot.
and one more thing. sa cebu pacific, nothing is free. kahit tubig. you would have to pay 50 for a drink. and most airports do not allow ceb to use the tubes.
Philippine Airlines is the first airliner in the world to achieve the full fleet of latest Airbus aircraft. (except a380) But all off Cebu Pacific's aircraft are new.
just so you know people cebu pacific is an low cost carrier...in comparison to PAL it is a luxury airline...kaya sa mga nagcomment dito pls reitirate youselves...
hey alvincim, sojuloveshappy and 505master, We are not SHIT!!!! you smell like shit, taste like shit and you are SHIT!!!! if you hate pinoys, then don't bother to comment..... YOU FAT ASS!!!! We Filipinos are even trying hard to not to be shit.... Don't judge a book by it's cover..... all of you are a very harmful
photos presented for 5J were from their economy classes, while photos presented for PR were from their business class. this is not a fair presentation. i flew both, and they would both have their ups and flaws. for domestic flights, it is practical to fly ceb Pacific. 2 hours ka lang naman sa plane. International, i would choose other commercial airlines over PAL. super left behind sila and may konting attitude mga Flight Attendants nila, especially on their treatment sa mga OFWs :-(

You can't compare a low cost airline with a normal one. It is not balanced and fair like that, think before you compare please

PAL is #1 for me when travel within the Philippines.
I always go Mabuhay Class, if Cebu Pacific offered the same service I would think about flying them if price was lower.
