Well, this scene IS pretty sad, it really moved me the first time I saw it..

But I think Atoli's memories was sadder..Although Atoli's voice actor is kinda bad, she did that scene perfectly at least. Soo, for me, that was the saddest part in .Hack//G.U Triology.

As for the saddest scene in ALL GAMES, I'd have to say the scene of The Al Bhed's Home invasion, from beginning to end. Especially the part when Rikku explained everything about Home & then Tidus finding out about Yuna's pilgrimage.

2nd Thoughts : Really should show close-up emotions for Haseo at the end. Haseo's probably like ''No...WHY WOULD I LET ANOTHER FRIEND BECOME A LOST ONE! NO NOT AGAIN! NOT ALKAID! NOT SHINO! NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!'' A sad scene always says ''no'', because they only beg for the thing they have either wanted to live, keep, or watch. It's only about emotion, and what you feel about the other thing you beg for, but this POSSIBLY couldn't be the saddest, but still it is pretty damn sad.

2:46 Lol. I don't really see anything sad about this. Still, sad at the end. Later on in Vol 3 I think Alkaid get's revived, but she ain't dying for real. It's just the AIDA right in that level, later on though Alkaid does get revived. But, still. This was the reason when my bro played the series, he married Alkaid for the ending XP Also this was pretty much the first time I have ever saw Haseo beg for Alkaid to live. It's very touching, but really gives a strong feeling...

I think the sadest part of this whole scene isn't the scene itself or even the music (sure helps a lot).

It's all because of Haseo. Seeing someone as emotionally strong as him, just breaking down in a moment of absolute weakness and helplesness, knowing their isn't a damn thing he can do...

Really leaves a impact.

what alot of people don't get is that when they say it's just a game it's justa game, I do realize she became a lost one, but it's still just a game, what make it emotional is that for the players of the world, this is a form of escapism, the outside world is inadequate and cruel, so they choose to live in "the world" . so it's like real life to them, the real world is bleak, and dull, and this game is almost like a wall they build around themselves, so the game matters alot.

When I got to this part in Vol 2, I was so F***IN MAD at Bordeaux, that when I versed her in the Arena, I just annihilated her completely! I just couldn't stand it! half the game without Alkaid!
