My Christian friend told me:"It is because mankind have sinned, and therefore suffering is the consequences. And the worst suffering that we will meet is when we go to hell. And that the way to end suffering is to accept Lord Jesus Christ who have died for our sins." Can any Christians clarify if this is the view hold by Christians? Thank you.

According to the bible satan rebelled & was cast from heaven to earth & man finds himself in the midst of a spiritual battle. Death entered thru Adam's sin in the beginning (Genesis). Christ shed his blood for man's sins & overcame death on the cross proving His deity and power over death. Hell was prepared for satan & his angels. Those who reject Christ end up in hell.

Why do they have to go through all the pain and suffering and die horribly even though they did not sin? If these things happen to mankind I can understand, cos we have sinned. When satan fell from heaven there was another spillover. His demons torment mankind. Mark chapter 5 shows demons going into some pigs. Animals were made for man. There is very little logic behind Buddhism. If there was, the many different sects would have some common doctrinal statement. However some are deists some are not. Within Christianity all believe in the same savior who shed his blood for our sins and resurrected. This Buddha could not do.
