It would require and atmosphere ( consisting of part oxygen) to PROTECT the ammonia so that life could evolve. So life cannot evolve WITH oxygen. AND, life cannot apparantly evolve WITHOUT oxygen. The idea that the Bible is open to interpretation is a great misconception among many cults, emergent and postmodern churches. Supposedly life cannot evolve from the "soup" with oxygen, because oxygen will oxidize everything it touches. Leave a banana it turns brown. So life cannot evolve WITH oxygen. At the same time, the hypothetical atmosphere must contain AMMONIA, which is BROKEN DOWN by UV light. It would require and atmosphere ( consisting of part oxygen) to PROTECT the ammonia so that life could evolve. So life cannot evolve WITH oxygen. AND, life cannot apparantly evolve WITHOUT oxygen. How does that work??

Your lists of scriptural rebuttal using 2 Cor. 1 Thess., and Ephesians are not contextually correct. In other words you are taking them out of context to suit your needs. This is called eisegesis. In your argument you should also curse the disciples for drawing lots to choose a replacement for Judas Iscariot. Many a person has done this to the Bible. Playing cards does not cause the devil to have a foothold - however practicing sin does, which is what Eph. is talking about, not cards.

Genesis 19:31-36. The Bible is NOT condoning incest. It's a record of an historical event of Lot. We don't go around criticizing history books for dealing with subjects of murder, rape, etc... because we know they are recorded history. Whatever. I can't accept that your *omnipotent god* can't find any other alternative in some situation than genocide and ethnic cleansing. You can try to rationalize this to yourself all you like. He does try several alternatives before it becomes futile to try and persuade the people. He of course warns them and gives them a choice to repent, but they don't do it. In this case, God, in his absolute holiness, can rightly judge man by his own will.

The idea that the Bible is open to interpretation is a great misconception among many cults, emergent and postmodern churches. People have been abusing the Scripture within the Bible for their own causes thousands of years. Proper exegesis is key and apparently many do not seem the least bit interested in doing so. No other religion has God saving mankind from their sins, coming to be a man yet without sin. Other religions have mankind trying to do "works" to be "saved," to be their own gods.

Lot is the subject at hand, but yes, Noah became drunk too. Every single human on the face of this planet, save Jesus Christ himself, sinned against God and therefore the wrath of God is upon all those who break the commandments of God. In the position of the saved, Christ became the lightning rod of God's wrath, so God's wrath isn't directed at the one covered by grace through Christ. However those who do not repent and are apart from Christ - God's full wrath is upon them still.

Also take note of the book of Judges, which is a historical account of Israel's drifting from God and how through affliction and God raising up the judges brought them back again. If people drift from God, they end up in that kind of trouble. Not pretty, especially the situation with the man who had his concubine raped by the Benjamites, not pleasant to read and not pleasant to mention here either, but it is an honest, warts and all account of all that Israel did.

Evolution of a population of flies into "something that clearly isn't a fly" would certainly be impressive. But the theory of evolution does not predict such occurring within the lifetime of individual (or a few generations of) observing scientists.
Evolution of populations that can no longer reproduce with their ancestral populations has been observed, which is all the the theory predicts. To show that what you ask "never happens", you need to demonstrate a barrier to accumulation of change.

No, we know the act of murder is possible - we've observed murders and can show in test case that murders are possible. Hence we look at evidence to see if yet *another* murder has taken place even though we haven't seen that particular one.
Contrast this with going to court with 80 years of research and forensic evidence "proving" Mike turned your friend into a goldfish. Judge: "until you can show me a single obvservation or test case of anyone being turned into a goldfish, get out."

God is the only morally perfect being. Therefore his system of justice is morally perfect and we should strive to make our justice system match his own. There are three tenets of Gods justice (as evidenced by Rays witnessing clips).
1.Single most severe sanction for all crimes. Gods justice only recognizes only one punishment eternity in hell. We should follow suit and apply the death penalty for all crimes.

You only focus on these passages. You see mistakenly, these are old Testament passages, and usually the actions of what God does is very symbolic, even in ways we cannot understand.
Of course, it implies nowhere that those women were to be harmed.
You must realize the large transition in the new testament with the gospels.

Oh yes, if you ever properly studied history, slavery is much different then it was during the 1800's.
Slavery back then wasn't racially discriminant, and actually paid.
Back in Biblical times, usually someone was taken to an owner as a "slave" or worker so that they could work to pay their debts.
Slave drivers in the 1800s were mean men who wanted nothing more than money and they hated their slaves.

Hated their slaves? Are you daft? Slaves were a very expensive investment! When you consider all the time, money, care, food, tools, caretakers, guards, and everything else, slaves were a HUGE investment. Most were even considered part (but not equally part) of the family.
It would be counterproductive to injure a slave to the point he could not work to make money for the owner.
Many owners just thought of slavery as a necessary evil.

Slavery back then was a job, not a forced thing.
Slaves were still considered property so they would be inherited simply.
That's not what the Bible says actually, only what you consider to say, you're twisting it's real meaning.

Slaves were captured. It was traditional that slaves would be captured back then. But, they used to be enemies.
Now they weren't abused. Slavery then and slavery 1800s has a large difference.
