  • A lot of mixrace people are unhappy with themselves because their parent lack the knowlegde they need to know about race issues that clearly still exist. You are what your GENETICS say you are. I'm mixrace because my mother is white and my dad black, but my complexion is brown. Therefore I'm a brown man. Fact. Once you are realistic and stick to the facts then nobody can contradict you. And being mixrace isn't gonna stop me from telling the truth because truth has no colour.

  • You are a human first, then you are a colour.

  • Is your cousin the killer whale?

  • @SkullCrusherer obama is half-caste.

  • Part 4: You are also wrong about there not being a mixed race category in the US. There is and many people identify with that title. I can tell you first hand that the Euro perception on race is quite diff. than the US's. You don't have our history, our racial issues. My mother is Polish, I go to Europe all the time and I know that their views are different from the US's. Visit the NAACP and read some books about race in the US before making vids that criticize too harshly. Ur guessing at best.

  • @mwtwyman Well the part where i said that there wasnt a Mixed-racce categorie was based on things i was told so my bad on that but you are contradicting yourself:First you say Obama identifies as a Black man because he was treated like one his whole life then you say Bi-racial people cant consider themselfes as Black or White?

I say the way most Bi-racial identify is based on their parents and their surroundings also i did list a username but why give them undeserved attention?

  • 1 of 2 @312CLIQ I said that Obama "appears" to be blk & therefore was always treated as a blk man. T hat's why he identifies with being a black person. He still understands that he is biracial though. I spoke about looking like I'm mixed &ppl like me can't say they're blk or wht w/out raising some eyebrows. If u look wht or blk then choosing to be or identify with that race is an option but if you look like a lot of mixed ppl -- a blend of both races, you look crazy saying ur one or the other

  • 2 of 2 @312CLIQ You say that biracial ppl choose to identify based on their parents & surroundings...that won't work if you're a dark complexioned mixed person and you are growing up with a wht parent in a wht neighborhood. You identify based on how ppl treat you. You don't want to give undeserved attention to mixed ppl who are racist? How is it undeserved if you're proving a point? Giving one person's screen name while saying there are MANY ppl like that is not evidence. Prove what ur saying.

  • @mwtwyman That wont work if you're a dark complected mixed person living in a white neighbourhood?

Thats bull if you have a white parent that parents responsiblity is to inform you about who you are on top of that you just said white neighbourhood doesnt that count as a surrounding? stop proving my point please....

  • Part 3: You are completely wrong to say a mixed child can consider themselves black or white. They can try, but all they are doing is creating a resentment not only in themselves but also with the side of their heritage that they aren't connecting with. I look like I'm mixed so I identify as "mixed". I've been told by black ppl that I'm not black and obviously, white ppl don't think I'm white. I am mixed. If I looked wht, then I might think different. If I looked blk I might think different.

  • @mwtwyman I'm not mixeded, but I agree with you. I don't like when people try to give or force them into picking one side of another. I always thought it was kind of silly to call them half of what they are. But I do know some black and white people who call mixed people black.

  • Part 2: You're completely wrong on the second part of your video. 1st, you were not raised in America. You can't identify with the issues that mixed or black Americans face. President Obama is biracial but he appears to be black to most people, therefore he was treated as black. Regardless of what his ethnicity is, he was treated as a black man in America, so that's what he identifies with.

  • Part 1: The first part of your video I agree with...if you actually have seen a lot of racist mixed people on youtube. You should have listed the usernames of these people so that ppl who watched your video could see/hear the comments for themselves. I like concrete evidence when watching a video or else to me it's just hear-say.

  • I couldn't agree more.I have never had a complex. However i have experienced racism from mostly black people. This doesn't give me a complex. However it is really hard to deal with.

  • im from Ghana nigaa, stand up !!!!!

  • ur accent is beautiful.,,ur message is nice but they wont because they have been brainwashed by society to hate one or the other. be glad that you have love from you family...

  • I don't think you really understand what people are trying to say plus you sound like you are from a different country. We have issues in America that you don't have. I'm biracial black and white and I consider myself both. I come from the south in the US. I have in fact received racism from both sides white and black. I've even received racism for because I look latino to some people. I'm still proud of who I am and where I come from. But don't discount the experiences of others. They're real

  • you seem to have a goo heart. Thank you for trying sweetie

    Just sayin.

  • Amsterdam holland is the best place on the European-Continent the people are so friendly and wonderfull and the weed is great bars and clubs all special God bless you Amsterdam.

  • damn the one drop rule messed you lot up

  • Nice vid, keep it up.

  • Yeah I noticed the exact same thing

  • you said you are what your parents are and raise you to be? what if you are black and raised by all whites, only being around all white people your whole life? does that make you white even though you have black skin? do you really think people are going to mistake you as white?

  • When i said that i meant Biological parents but either way if you are adopted by a family of a different ethnicity (although you're skin colour doesnt change) usualy you're morals and outlook on life will usualy be the same as the family that adopted you (unless you are thought otherwise) i personaly have met African children that have been adopted and most of them didnt know they were ''different'' until they were told by their parents or others.

  • In 2000 people can check all that apply on what their race is. Obama actually checked black and white on his according to CNN. He identifies as black b/c he was raised by his mother to do so. In his day the one drop rule still existed. Today it does not. Personally I don't agree with anyone not embracing whom they are to it's entirety.

  • Good vid. Just a gentle correction: Obama does not refer to himself as Black. When he was still 'President Elect Obama', he referred to himself jokingly as a "mutt", during a press conference. Also, he self-identifies himself as mixed race in his autobiographical book 'Dreams from My Father'.

  • He grew up when the one drop rule was still in effect. For the most part he was viewed and treated as Black, and thus became a part of the Black community. Just because someone acknowledges that they are mixed does not mean they can't and don't identify with the Black community in general.

  • yeah ur so right!

  • Holland :P

    Alles goed jongen;)

  • Love thisvideo =] people need to understand it. and ALSO! kids of biracial parents are biracial as well!. and or mixed.

  • No, you can't characteristic your self a black or an white child.Your bi-racial Kids :D 2 Came together as one, you should be happy:PLook as it as a testomy.Thats why most bi-racal kids end up hating themselves,Because most try to favor one or the others characteristic and to be accepted they have to disown one side witch is not right at all. Be happy with both sides of who you are, they both tell a different story.hating one is hating yourself and not matter what you say its not going to change

  • Thats exactly the point i tried to make with this video thank you for understanding :D.

  • Lol No problem :P! Rawr^^

  • good point.

  • Hey u r right, that was a silly statement, i apologize, i misunderstood your video at first

  • Comment removed

  • First of all i have never said in my life that i was better then anyone or that i was special in any kind of way.

Second:I have never cryed for aproval to anyone ever in my life i am my own man.

But the fact is my mother is white and my father is black and i am not going to disown either side.

Third:I never said i wanted to be white all i am saying is that i am mixed i embrace both my black and my white side if you dont like that thats you're problem not myne.

  • i just did a huge project on interracial marriage. I'm half black and half white myself. There are 5 different ways that biracial children determine their identity. In the past, most biracials consider themselves black, but they should not. Neither they should consider themselves white. I was raised by my white mother and I was raised white. I used to consider myself white until I started to find my true identity in college. Im mixed and thats that. It a totally different race.

  • I'm mixed as well...well I am Creole. Which is a mixture of French, Spanish, and African-American. (I'm from New Orleans)

But, I agree with you. I hate when people try to category as black or white, when I am both. I think the one drop rule is completely racist. I am proud of all sides of my heritage and I don't like being classified as one race.

  • It honestly does not matter what you or anyone else sees me as. Because I will continue to be a Creole girl. That's my self identity just as you see yourself as black. I embrace all aspects of my heritage. I am proud of my ethnic background, and refuse to see myself as others want me to be seen.

  • Well I am creole as well, my point ws that if someone were to refer to you as african american you shouldnt get upset, you can be african american and creole and multiracial all at th same time. YOu can be a sister a cousin a student all at the same time right, why should this be any different. you need to watch this vid caled the illusion of race, my point is you history is very much an african american commonality. didnt mean to offend, vive le creole! peace out

  • That is a very astute observation on your part.

  • I'm glad to see a bi-racial person that does not have an identity problem. I'm glad to see someone one who has a good sense of identity. I was kind of concerned because I am open to dating white guys, but I was concerned because I want to have kids and I dont want my biracial kids having identity problems or a self-esteem problem. When I saw these videos on youtube it really concerned me to the point that I was concerned with getting involved with someone out side my race.

  • how do you mean?

  • Hi man haha ur a rolmodel for us all btw im full morocan u know me im ur friend(moessie) haha and ur right man:P

  • So true.

  • Amsterdammer :D Ik ben het ook echt helemaal met je eens!

Ik ben zelf ook gemixt, Papa uit Suriname en blanke moeder :D

En ik embrace ALLE culturen waarmee ik ben opgegroeid :D

  • exactly

i agree at 3:05 and so forth

  • name of the song at the end?

  • Yellow fever by Fela Kuti.

  • "Bi racial children are not Black. "

Even though I am Bi-racial I agree with that part 110%

  • I was about to tear your commet up until I read it, and I read your other post and I'm glad you acknowledge obama is biracial.

Black isn't even a race, its a skin color,Black people come from all over the world, It just that in the usa, it sucks being bi-racial because you have idiots labeling you based on looks and idiots Americans that does not seem to acknowledge that multiracial people exist.

  • Once again what does being triracial or biracial have to do with blackness or whiteness. Like I said Mariah has made it clear in words that she isn't white, based on her outlook of life, and how people view her, but not she has never said she wasn't black or wasn't biracial. Like I said before I am no more entitled to my blackness than she is.

  • whats da song

  • shook ones-mobb deep

  • I like what u gotta say bro. Keep it up. BTW a mulatto person cannot consider themselves white. They can consider themselves black or mixed but not white. And the reason is too long to explain here, but it has to do with the existence of racism and the fact that we threaten the existence of the white race like any other people of colour. Sad but true.

  • another proud mulatto here! it would help if blacks could get over their jealousy and hatred of mulattos! this is a two way street here!

  • I agree, you would think that being half one thing and half another would make someone less ignorant, but looking on youtube there are a shit load of videos from ignorant and stupid mixed people.

  • yea boy it shows the extent to which the point that SOCIETY MIND CONTROLS THE SHIT OUTTA PEOPLE! AND THERE IS NO ESCAPE THE FUNDAMENTAL FUNCTION OF HUMAN SOCIALITY..

  • bonsu ltd, boateng? shout out to my ghanaian brothers!

  • Hahaha medase!!! (thank you in twi)

  • MIXEDBOI1989 ARE YOU ABOUT 3 YEARS OLD

  • Don't worrie about it i Blocked him and sent him an e-mail about his weird message.

How is he gonna call Black people ugly when he's bi-racial (meaning he also has black features)he's basicly calling himself ugly.

Why hate wich hates itself. 312CLIQ

  • I can understand why you might be put off by the actions of some, but dont hate all black people. There are alot of good ones out there. Hating people will only hurt yourself. Its not good for your health my friend.

  • You are so wise.... ;)

  • ur tha man dude.

  • Ok, but you do realize the there is a difference between white, and biracial, right? If you want to consider yourself white, than that is definitly your own business. Just curious as to why you still give yourself the white biracial title instead of just saying that your white,as you say you are

  • There is no white biracial, and there is no black biracial. Biracial is seperate. Im not black, or im not white. Im biracial. I would want to be nothing other than biracial.. Who are the enemies that you speak about?

  • I like this video. Alot of biracials problems start at home. FOr starters, i know a few who have been not been brought up to embrace on side or the other, due to only being raised without one and or the other. Now, with that said, once one turns a certain age, and matures in the mind, its entirely up to the individual to live as they please. I know first hand that i will and always have embraced both of my heritage.

  • I understand this dude because I am part black & part native indian. I consider myself both & I am happy with my decision.

  • Good for you!Thank God!Very intelligent statements. You need to talk to ,Kiokokichi!!!

  • Mixed race, or multiracial, is not currently a category in the US. However, someone can mark "other" and then write in whatever they want.

  • That's a complete LIE -- and YOU need to educate yourself. The United States has had this category since the year 2000. African-American (AA) congressman (John Conyers) and the National Black Caucus (along w/ the NAACP & many other AAs) LED THE DRIVE to have the category added to US government forms. England did not have it until 2001. The US was / is way ahead of the UK when it comes to Mixed-Race rights.
  • thanks man ima kid

  • actualy ive been to the US and americans (individualy are pretty ok)

The thing is that the media and for a large part also the companie's and the gorverment is not.

I mean you still have to fill in you're race when you are aplying for a bank acount!!!

How does race relate too putting money on the bank?

(maybe an idea for a vid here lol)

Anyways americans are nice and friendly people dont make their media/goverment scare you of.

  • Actually, that's UNTRUE It's ILLEGAL in the US, TO DEMAND data Race/Ethnicity/Religion/Marital Status/ Sexual Orientation on ANY application The data can be 'volunteered' -- but NOT 'demanded' It seems that many Europeans have a very inaccurate image of the US 312Cliq thanks for your nice comments about Americans - we rarely hear nice comments about us from Europeans
  • finally a biracial who makes sense.

  • U have to understand that many users like "whiteethnicpride" are imposters. He and many others have set up multiple accounts to spread their ideas. Whiteethnicpride has about four to five accounts!!

Luckily, these people are easily identified, since they never show their faces.

However, there are many "real" biracial kids that share these opinion and they are entitle to do so.

Just keep in mind that this is youtube, and not everything on it is real. Obviously people are trying to misuse it!

  • Im mixed race, Ive seen all this kind of thing. I embrace all of the cultures Im mixed with and I dont deny anything. Just be happy w/ urself like u said.

  • Good video. I agree, see my video on multi-racial Americans.

  • Spread tha word mayne.
