Like in our school. The most popular kids are the ones doing good in school, children of rich and succesful doctors, and they don't act that way. The writers and actors try too hard to adapt and create that Gossip Girl feel, but they failed miserably.
Because it is a filipino version they should have researched more on the filipino standards of being "rich and popular", the local and more realistic dialogue between high school students in the Philippines.
So this is really unrealistic and kind of laughable.

but it's crystal clear that the idea of this show came from gossip girl.

Masyado na kasing maraming show tungkol sa mga "dukha" (saying that in a non-bitchy way), and kumita na nga, sobra. Then they portray rich people as evil people na laging pinapahirapan ang mga "mahihirap." Do you realize how much Phil TV/cinema has turned poverty into a commodity? Pag may pumupunta atang turista dito, squatters ang una nilang ineexpect makita. It's good that they're trying other themes. I think gaganda pa to, bago pa lang e, pagbigyan muna.
