  • but I prefer to eat food what human cooks!

  • It's cool, but certainly removes the personal factor I want when someone cooks me food.

  • @MechWarrior894 fix+turn women into robots

  • This is awesome but a human would do it faster anyway....

  • They are not smart, they are just programed to do this.

  • dear santa...

  • I love Japan.

  • Awesome ramen bot

  • they could make it faster them, selves

  • Now that's inefficient. From a production-line point-of-view, that's very inefficient. I guess they do it like that to make it look cool.

  • Wow!

  • 2:46

    - KONO YARO!!

    - YAMERO!!

  • MI SO WANT ONE AT HOME!

  • In the end, when they are fighting the kniferobot says "Son of a bitch" (something like that) and the other is saying "Stop it"!

  • WHY does the USA still choose to be behind

  • @zillsburyy so that people can have jobs.. the majority of us work in the service industry

  • the robot at the very end that transferred the soup to the table was impressive

  • They have never turned a profit- this is a research prototype which is constantly being worked on.

  • this is great...until they learn how to spit...

  • just imagine how many years of selling ramen are needed for them to cover the price of the robot and then profit. 9000 years?

  • @ximmortalx I would suspect over 9000.

  • @ximmortalx lol finance fail

  • Does anybody here know the address of this restaurant, in Nagoya???

    このレストランはどこですか。住所は住所ですか。

  • thanks to the low crime rate in japan robots and technology were able to take a place in society with worry of anyone vandolizing them.

  • I find it funny when people think there are still going to be jobs in the future. Note that computers are starting to think faster then us, image how there going to be in the next 50 years.

  • madonna che troiata

  • Did they clean their dirty hands? :D

  • Naruto gets free ramen by robots =]

  • the talkings really annoying

  • It's kinda slow..

  • the robots are taking over O.o

  • hey, does anybody know where is that restaurant exactly in nagoya?

  • @zitrone343 I read somewhere that the restaurant was merely a proof of concept and only lasted a short while, about a .5 to 1 year before closing.

  • It doesn't look very tasty. I lived in Sapporo for 3 years and ate a large amount of ramen and this just looks bad. Check out goramen.com and see what a real ramen should look like. No robot can create a good ramen.

  • hahaha,,,,very cool!!!

  • Japanese people FTW!

  • byebye mcdonalds worker

  • KOOL BUT NOT A NEAT PRESINTATION

  • Slow but accident free

  • @samn100 slow but never tiring. u can work them till the power runs out.

  • they won't spit in your food!

  • REFLEXO DO CAOS, ONDE O SER HUMANO PERDE SEU EMPREGO PARA AS MÁQUINAS E DEPOIS A VIDA. REFLITAM!

  • Humans always have to put on the finishing touches lol =D

  • wow, the future is fucking scary

  • 정말 세상 좋아졌네요...사람이만든것보단 정성은 부족하겟지만 그래도 위성적이고 재밌네요.^^

  • babaero?

  • dey tuk err jerbs!

  • This seems really ineffective and kind of creepy. It's better to have a real person make it.

  • Yaaar, run for the hills.. It's got a knife 2:44 :D

  • wow, this just SCREAMS "cost effective"

  • And robots can't fuck up your order

  • I was about to make a Mexican-Robot joke, but damn, everyone is doing them

  • Theres something so sad about seeing those robots work. Cant really put my finger on what.

  • @Tsukuyomi15

They don't know how to smile :(

  • @coresnake0 No, but they make me smile :)

  • Yes! This is what we need instead of Mexicans at McDonalds.

These robots have a better personality.

  • @aflyingturd and they don't screw up your order!

  • I wonder how many terawatt they spend per hour xD Sci fi > effectivity

  • omg lol! they mess around when they have a break!! XDD

  • nevermind the robots, the person ordering ramen changes sex!

  • When assembly line robots loose their jobs at Toyota or Honda..

  • It seems that the flying spaghetti monster is trying to manifest itself in the material world through Japanese engineers.

  • the end was little scary ^^

  • MOAR gief !!

  • having this in my kitchen would be a dream come true

  • so this is where tony stark sent his robot after his last failed test run....

  • Ichiraku should get some of this xD

  • WOOW! SUGOI!

@flyme- people made a robot that works with rat brain cells. It's too late -___- we're screwed.

  • Mine works with cat brain cells. THOSE are screwed.

  • i heard about that. blue brain or something

  • I want one of these! XD Then it can make ramen for me!

  • That pretty cool! But what about the lunch rush?

  • @ flymr1991

They don't have AI and it can't be programmed to do that exactly everytime so most likely, someone is controlling it.

  • Funny idea by the asians but please, don`t give them any real intelligence. They will take over the world soon

  • but if these robots took over the world.....mmmmm......delicious Ramen for everyone!

  • But if they turned against us it would be a delecios poisonous rameny death XD

  • lul

  • Hahaha

  • @HanTVStudios öhmm a robot without legs should be able to kill a human ?

    WTF are you talking °_°

  • What are the robots saying?

  • i would like one of those

  • wow it's the Ford car making robots after even they got layed off! Who knew they could go from painting and welding cars to making ramnen-related food!

  • 少子化には必ずこういうロボットが必要になってくる。個性のあるロボットがまだまだ出てくるだろうね。

  • Oh god! They're using tools! They have learned!!! Run for your lives!!!!!!

But in all seriousness these guys (or girls) are awesome.

  • Must be Mexican robots... oh come on that's pretty funny! Kidding guys, just kidding.

    That's awesome though. I want a robot!

  • I don't get the funny part. Ramen is japanese food. Why would you say these robots are Mexican?

  • because of the knife fight thing. its kinda racist but I thought it was funny at the time.

  • Okay, you lost me again. Where do you see a knife being wield by these robots? I understand Mexicans like to fight with knives. And I'm not calling you a racist. But I just don't see the connection? Do you see it? There are no knives shown here.

  • Okay, I saw the knife now. Ignore what I said earlier. LOL

  • He is referring to Mexican kitchen staff. It is common in many states.

  • This is pretty cool. But aren't these just assembly line robots that have been reprogrammed for very simple kitchen tasks? The baseball playing robots were way more interesting.

  • konoyaro.. yamero...

    wow..

    cute

  • I can see the future ahead me...

  • Just imagine, when they take over the world.

They know how to use a freaking knife.

Putting that joke aside, that's a lovely robot. I want.

  • Who wouldn't want a robot who could shank?

  • @231539 they could fling plates at us too....

  • It wouldn't be a real kitchen without a knifefight

  • The Hangul alphabet character isn't liked.

  • Japan! What'll you think of next? =D

  • 豊田の工場からリストラされたのか

  • PT-BR Isso deve gastar uma energia :O

EN This may waste so much energy power :O

  • ha ha the robot was applauding

  • Must be "off" hours there at the "restaurant"...

I miss that Ramen store out of Yokohama Yamanote Line Station... 500 Yen for a piping Hot (both ways) bowl every time!

  • Must be "off" hours there at DirtinSky's "memory"...

No such thing as a Yokohama Yamanote Line station... The Yamanote line is looped JR line that only services Tokyo.

  • You're right, sorry about that. I have always taken the JR Yokosuka line up to Shinagawa and just mixed them two up.

Replace "Yokosuka" and it still stands as one of the best quick noodle shops on the line!

  • ohshitrobotknifefight

  • Coming next week, Robot sword fights.

  • fucking hilarious when the 'bot taps the little container *clink clink clink* LOL

  • can u eat monkey with that?

  • i love the little knife fight at the end

  • 固めんで頼む

  • Frakkin' toasters are taking over...

  • This is the future of fast food.

No more spitting in food, or 'rescued' burgers that have fallen on the floor.

I love how Japan embraces technology, rather than being cynical and negative towards it's progress the whole time.

    HUMANS malfunction, get over it.

  • what culture has a negative look on technology other than the 3rd world nigs

  • The ones that say 'THEY WILL TAKE OVER THE WORLD' 'AHH BUT IT'S ALWAYS BEST TO LEAVE A PERSON IN CHARGE' 'THIS WILL PUT US OUT OF JOBS' 'KIDS DON'T PLAY LIKE THEY USED TO' 'JESUS WOULD OPT FOR A SIMPLE NOKIA WITH GOOD BATTERY LIFE OVER AN iPhone'

  • you really do not make any sense nor have a point

  • Yes I do, and it's not my own point. It's a well documented culture difference.

  • its a valid point people bring up too. Google technological singularity. Technology doesnt mean futuristic robots either. Failure to acknowledge any kind of technology would mean to drop the most primitive of tools such as a wooden branch.

  • I didn't say failure to acknowledge. I was talking about attitudes towards it. Particularly how the older generations view it with scepticism and fear, where in other cultures, such as Japan, even the older generations embrace new technology.

You're going to find it hard to have the high ground after coming out with '3rd world nigs'

  • Well I must tell you I am part troll so stating "3rd world nigs" was extremely necessary. Nobody "fears" newer technology, really you dont even understand waht you are typing I dont think. The type of robotics in this video is nothing new at all, there are many employed in western countries so you have zero clue what you are talking about really. Everything japan has the west also has.

  • touché to you my friend, very valid points but i must say that you're not only part, you are a full troll lol

  • I think it's you that doesn't understand. Again you are misrepresenting what I write. It's not about a tally on either side of who has what. It's not about fear. It's about cultural attitudes. Tried and tested, vs brave new world.

Go find someone else to give you the attention and Human interaction you seem to crave.

  • No hes right, your babbling makes no sense. Your obviously a bigot with your anger towards religion. Robots have been doing jobs in the West for decades including in the bible belt due in warehouses and car factories, machine shops..countless other places.

He's right JeffCakes, your an idiot and you have no point.

  • I have not mentioned religion here. You've obviously taken the trouble to go in to my profile, judge me accordingly, and then call ME the bigot!

    Comedy gold.

    I've touched a nerve have I?

I know robots have been doing jobs for decades in the west. The fact you bring this up shows you haven't got a clue either.

I'm talking about pop-culture, not industry.

  • 包丁で遊ぶのは良くないぞ。

    よい子のみんなはマネしないようにw

  • Ok, it is all amazing but let us be realistic here, this robot doesn't have the capacity to operate a full housed restaurant! So slow!

  • Relax bro... If robots get any faster, they'll soon take over the world!

btw, it won't be long till we see the 1st robot to work in McDonald's...

  • They all ready do, they always have, but they are coated in acne and bad attitude.

  • oh yes because technology wont get better, enabling them to do things far far quicker.. no, not ever. noob.

  • what without the cook?

  • the restaurant doesn't look to be successful

  • Окуете можно!

  • the matrix!

  • and what the heck stop think a robot can have a will of their own :S they only do a specific moment pattern wish is written in their system. simply

  • they allready have patrol boats along the US coast with robotic weaponry(missiles). but ofc they can't malfuntion because they do only what they'r told =) you think the us army are that stupid they would fuck something up xD ?

  • I'm sure one day robots will rule the world, and will be killing machines.

Just think about it, if they can make cooking robots, why can't they make some that shoots whatever moves.

  • Damn, awesome. Now they are gonna make smaller and less scarier ones in the future. Thats good. I love when they were putting on a fight show. lol. A knife and a metal container lid. :D

  • FUCK SHIT YEAH!!!

  • Japan is like Blade Runner in real life. Amazing.

  • Dear god they've learned to use knives and shields

  • that is just the freakiest thing ive ever seen... it really scared me for some reason

  • maybe the reason is that they have built robot arms wielding giant knives? O_o

  • I want it!!!...ho...it cost that much...I think i'll buy a cupper soup...

  • umm what is that white stuff they pour into it?

i only eat those mr.noodle ramen things...

  • Probably pork or chicken broth.

  • Mama, don't let your kids grow up to be programmers!

  • This has to be one of the coolest things I ever seen.

  • Only when they pry my chef's knife from my cold dead fingers.

  • Weird

  • SUGOI!

  • I for one welcome our new ramen overlords :)

  • Judgement day is upon us

  • If I were rich, I would definitely buy robots to make me a tasty bowl of slop.

  • 自分「すいません。あの、麺がうまく入ってないみたいなので

    作り直してもらえますか?」

    ロボット「・・・コノヤローッ!(包丁持って)」

    自分「ヤメロ!」

  • awesome! how much?

  • the robots are taking over!!11!

  • Brought to you by Skynet.

  • I would like to eat there, as long the robots wont stab me

  • Wtf?

This is even more Expensive and annoying!

  • Glad they found a job for all those robots that use to make cars.

  • LOL! nice one!!

  • Cool Japanese is full of creative ideas creating robots to do household works.. Rite is slow but is interesting to have robots to cook for u..

  • wtf?

  • Lol, I love it when that robot was holding the knife, cause in the future robots are gonna replace thugs one day. Their obsoelete!

  • Made in Japan©

  • I dont get it, are robots THAT cheap to replace a 18 year old?

  • Beware for the machines are taking over all ther jobs these days.

Soon even all the low wage jobs will be lost to machines and even the dest jobs will be taken over by IVRs.

Human support is a thing of the past.
