  • haha, sweet.

  • I have no idea what the fuck just happened

  • This is why I'm in physics :) Was that the Earthbound bicycle ring at the end?

  • just saw it..and LOVED IT!I am going to pretend I'm a barmaid, maybe that will help!!!

  • Very sool video. I wish there were more like it on Youtube.

  • Well he was very found of strip clubs.

  • I thought it was quite good

  • i loved it :)

  • Instead of school, kids should just be given acid and shown this.

Reminds me of room 23, but way cooler. It was storming outside as I watched this. Sorry my thoughts are so disjointed, this video rearranged my brain.

  • Great work!

  • Neuralsurfer Rocks!

  • It should be possible to get laid by butchering the laws of physics in front of a barmaid.

  • Love it.

  • that was pretty cool

  • Very good. My only suggestion for improvement is to somehow include some Ricky Wilson guitar.

  • What an amazing mind....

  • Thanks.

  • @jbrethous Hi.

  • Fantastic! Could def use more bongo drums, though :)

  • Nicely Done You should do another one of these....

  • What's the music? I watched this video first time because of Feynman, but then I just wanted to listen to the music.

  • ;) made me smile ALOT

  • I came, twice.

  • My piss its too damn bright outside to see the cosmos.

  • I bought this track because I heard it in this video.

  • What is the name of the track?

  • United Future Organization - The Planet Plan

  • @Flerndip22 Thank you

  • As a devoted Feynman fan...I APPROVE!!!...

  • Needs more bongo drums

  • GoOooOOoOOooOd

  • Does anyone know from which film is the introductory cartoon? And/or the introductory music? (until 0:44)

  • Artful science. Great.

  • lol

  • Excellent, thank you very much, this is great.

  • RIP

  • This is spectacular, excllent work!

  • Brilliant. I'll favorite this.

  • Hell yes it's a music video for dorks, and it makes me smile. Bravo zulu! Excellent post! What is that amazing music?

  • dude! orchestrated physics!

  • totally genius

  • awesome

  • Very very awesome.

It is fascinating how a video like this pools such negativity around it, especially given its nonthreatening nature.

  • @sevenslimysnails

Very interesting point! My first thought was "Yes! Just like Science!" It's confusing, it's hard, it's strange, it challenges assumptions and what we think something OUGHT to be, etc. etc. And what is the response to Science? Fear and misunderstanding! Violent dismissal! Hostility!

Anyway, I was impressed by this. Maybe it's not that interesting.

  • you are good

  • At dawn. sorry. Oh, and dipshit, if you can think of a better example of when "man became god" than the splitting the atom let me know. Go on with the borophil..

  • The fact that a bunch of people like 5 times your IQ some 70 years ago split the atom makes you feel God? How sad are you?

  • W00t, I split atoms with a blink of my eye, who am I then?

  • this video rates up there with like ayer's rock at dusk and naked women. awsome video.

  • a big BOOOO. is there any point to this condescending pseudo-intelligence?

  • why was it condescending? that sounds like insecurity talking. boring maybe

  • False/meaningless statements in this video:

    1) There's no such thing as Feynman field equations.

    2) "Electromagnetism is energy liberated." Just doesn't make sense.

    3) "Strong and weak nuclear forces guide matter." That's pretty vague, but if anything, it's wrong.

    4) "Now I have become both Brahma and Shiva..." Certainly nothing to do with man becoming God, but Oppenheimer's lament for his role in the development of the bomb.

There are more, but those 4 were so outrageous I couldn't help myself!

  • I'm not going to go into the whole thing, but electromagnatisim (i.e. light waves doof) are liberated under certain quantum circumstances. Do your reseach. Idiot.

  • So you liked the video? That's great. I'm not gonna take one second of my time to teach you electromagnetism, let alone "electromagnatisim," That requires a really messed up tongue. First try some books for children so you can spell proper English.

When you're finished with all those you may want to try physics.

  • I have to agree. Meaningless.

But it has some artistic value. Unfortunately, I was looking for scientific value when I was roped in.

  • this whole thing is cool. What the hell are you looking for? Science studies or research papers on youtube?? It's like a music video for dorks. Ask the guy. I'm sure he'll tell you, It's creative and nothing more. Richard Feynman himself coulding do much better explaining e&m subjectively, and so far as I know really, NO ONE CAN. You're a stupid person.

  • WTF THIS IS ABSOLUTE FUKIN

    G BULLSHIT

  • Lovely retro!!! and stimulating

  • Thank you for this stimulating video!

  • great

  • that was an awesome video

  • the footage and the music you put together is awesome, how did you find this stuf? (i didnt learn anyhthing, but very entertaining)

  • On your website you posted an audio lecture of yourself from 2004. You said you were going to post more. So where are they? I really enjoyed it. Please post more if you can. If you don't then I'm converting to theism, or Christianity, or-fuck it, Scientology. If you don't post more lectures I'm becoming a Scientologist! I don't want to audit body thetans for the next three billion years on the Freewinds but I'll do it! Yur call bro.

  • Thanks for posting. It sucks though, makes no sense.

  • I loved it.

  • @EGarrett01 - of course things you don't understand at first make no sense. but that only means you should keep digging deeper into information until you find a satisfiable conclusion for yourself :)

  • @WeskJago

I've actually read multiple biographies of Feynman, among other people. When I say something sucks and makes no sense, it's because it's poorly communicated, not because it's complex or somehow intellectually advanced. "High-level thought" is not synonymous with being difficult to understand. Ironically, Feynman, the subject of this video, knew this also.

  • @EGarrett01 - oh ok sorry. i mistook you for a noob :P looks like i'm the noob in this one haha

  • @WeskJago

    No problem.

  • To be more specific the band is called United Future Organization.

  • The music is by the great Japanese party band U.F.O.

  • Put up more of your videos!

  • yeah, i'm with krudd. what's the name of the song in the video?

  • Awesome Vid

  • Haha,it is too much to say that "Four forces explain everything". Otherwise, nice audio and video.

  • Outstanding, I hope this doesn't get taken down any time soon - I'm going to recommend it to my Physics students :)

  • It feels that you are about to become a psycopath when watching this video.. soo amazingly wierd movie

  • Well done, good stuff and great song too!

  • human beings love this stuff.

  • anyone know credits on the music?

  • is the video working??? i can only see loading, but dont load!!!! i have high speed internet connection....so it hasd nothing to do with connection speed!!!

  • i enjoy!

  • I suspect that the quote "Four forces explain everything: gravity, strong and weak nuclear interactions, and electromagnetism" will be looked back upon with a chuckle some time in the future from now.

  • Perhaps not as loud a chuckle as we had at 18th century science, but we will definately be humbled when we finally discover a grand unified field which unites all four of these. Look up the ILC and the LHC - great stuff will take place in the future!

  • I thought the same thing about a week ago - it's just too crude isn't it - almost like earth wind fire water - a lame initial approximation.

  • sweet stuff.. :) nicely done.. cool tune as well!

  • damn!

  • Wonderful. Just Wonderful.

  • i enjoyed that...

  • Thanks for this video!!!

  • fantastic!!!

  • " - a brilliant juxtaposition of pop culture and modern science ... "
