Hey men, I have a samsung tv with the hd cables and everything, but...when I play games or just looking tv, u can tell that on the edges of the screen thre
I bought a XBOX360 Elite that came with a Rocketfish HDMI cable, but the very big plug that connects to the box with the yellow/green light has a little bit of plastic that covers the end of the XBOX360'S HDMI cable. I wonder, why is this and how can I fix this?
I geted tired of that joke and I bought an HDTV - SONY BRAVIA. That simply did not work on my monitor, so sad to think that I've bought the adapter, IT WAS EXPENSIVE!
hi wondering how is the quality when u look at the screen close up? does it have any grainy effect (looking a bit fuzzy as im having it in my current monitor benq 2200hd) and also have u played blu ray movies on this screen? if so is it crystal clear or has some fine small fuzz to it.
@Canibalectah Sorry I don't know exactly what the problem is, but try messing around with the settings on your PS3. The resolution could be messed up...
@Canibalectah you have to change the configuration of your ps3. The Ps3 can do this automatically. Turn your PS3 off than push and hold the start button on your ps3 for 15 sec and your ps3 will change the viedo output for the best results in this case HDMI . I hope i could help you
Do the newer 360 consoles support HDMI 1.3? I've read around on quite a bit of forum posts from 2007, and also the Microsoft announcement concerning the 360 using old HDMI 1.2. I found some really cheap HDMI cables, but they are HDMI 1.3, so do I HAVE to buy Microsoft's 50 dollar package to get their HDMI cables for me to hook my console up to the monitor, or can I use the newer cables and save money? Sorry for the wall of text.
um i dxunno if you'll know my issue here but i have a hd tv in my living room and lcd in my bedroom nd my bxox quality downstairs is great same with my ps3 downstairs and upstairs in my room bu when i try play my elite in my room the quality is shocking for some reason and i play ps3 on hdmi but not my xbox, do i need hdmi cables for my xbox?
You could use an HDMI to DVI converter for your Xbox. They cost around $5 - $15, and that would plug into your Xbox using HDMI, and into the monitor using DVI (the white, rectangular port).
The video quality is great, except the ratio problem that I explained. The internal audio is nothing special, but when I use my xbox, I rout the sound out of my headphone 3.5mm port to a 5.1 surround receiver. This gives me great quality for not being digital!!
It's ok for video... You can choose 1080p native (with av mode on or off- I think it's better to switch it off, because you've got a sharp picture, like DVI-d). Wonderful for video, but audio is ugly, and you must carry it through a 2.0, 2.1 or a 5.1 device. I use an analog Creative 2.1 (itrigue 3800) and it's perferct.
Ehm. I play xbox 360 on this monitor using 1080p. Take AV mode abled and select progressive scan only in the osd section of the monitor that says 4:3 wide and progressive scan (only in hdmi mode). Picture is entire and with right proportions. There's no stretched image.
For this monitor, can't you just switch it to wide screen mode (16:9) so it will be in 1080p but it will have horizontal black bars on the top and bottom?
The only thing that you can change manually is: weather or not the screen is "zoomed in" or not. So you will ether have the correct aspect ratio, but will not see all of the screen. Or you will have the wrong aspect ratio (so it will look 'squished' on the sides), but will be able to see all of the screen.
There is no way to manually change the size of the display besides those that I just mentioned.
hey im planning to buy a hdtv/hd lcd tv monitor for my xbox 360. which do you guys think is much better? a hdtv like the samsung series 4 or the samsung t260 hdtv lcd monitor? thanks.
1080p stands for progressive, meaning that all the "columns" of pixels are refreshed at once, 1080i stands for interlaced, meaning that all the odd "rows"of pixels are refreshed, then all of the even "rows" are refreshed.
Just wanted to give a shout out to you and a BIG thank you for this video. After days of trying to figure it out, your video finally helped me and now I can enjoy my games in all it's pristine HDMI glory. So thank you again & keep up the great work !!
There's a glare a little to bright, and I was wondering if anyone know how to... Maximize the tv for a full hd for video games! Thanks!

To get the best looking picture for both counsels, I would recommend using HDMI, for both of them.

damn i don't think i can coz i use HDMI for my ps3.
