  • It's funny , I was thinking about this episode just the other day and was trying to remember what the little stuffed toy was and the name since it had been years since I saw it. Why I thought of it I don't know, but strangely enough, that very episode was on today! Strange how things turn out that way? I seem to have a terrible weakness for things that 'touch the heart' and this episode is one of my all time favorites! Thanks for the post.

  • mr. french rides his cane

  • This was a wonderful little gem of a show. It wasn't overly hilarious or overly tearful--it was just right. CBS really was the "Tiffany Network" in those days.

  • I like this show. I hope I'm not becoming to much of a minority in program taste.

  • No, you are not a minority in program taste.

  • what a magnificent episode- i remember this very well. Kids these days are screwed not to have shows like this now

  • sorry--no T and A to keep you interested

  • sorry--good acting and a good script do not require any T & A to hold ones' interest.

  • i think it's just fine...compared to the trash of so-called emoting we have today with those overpaid brats...

  • absolutely, that was for the next decade but i love the 60s decade for tv

  • Outstanding. Garver's stunning.

  • Mr. French is cool. He's so distinguished.
