  • ok idea. you need to display the impact rateings on this though. ie what would happen if you flung a 2 by 4 at a wall made of this stuff at 100 Km/hour.

    Shure it can be "high streangth but can it keep people safe in a storm?

  • Sing honeycomb core tested in U of Wa reached 95,040 lbs per sq ft. impact rating. It would depend on the facial or surface skin to prevent 2 x 4 studs from penetrating our wall during a storm. We can apply materials such as plywood, fiber glass, carbon fiber, or Kevlar. No honeycomb core structure by itself can stop a bullet. Sing honeycomb combined with the right covering is an excellent substrate to stop 2 x 4 studs even a bullets if incorporated with right kind of skin or facial board.
