Very nice, a dude at work was asking about CETME today. I haven't really heard of CETME until today, but I was able to talk to him quite a bit about the G3 in general. I'll have to direct him to your video on Monday. I must say, you've put together a beautiful rig. How does the recoil impulse feel to say an AR or AK?
@datamaggot - Yeah, the recoil is very manageable, and in comparison to an AR, a bit more, but not so much it is an issue. Target re-acquisition is not as bad as I thought it would be, but it takes some getting used to. Compared to a 91-59 Mosin, which kicks like a 3-legged ninja, the Cetme is a softy. Honestly, it's surprising.
My flash suppressor is welded on, I think that is the standard. Thanks for commenting, DM!
@climbingtothetop - I love it. This thing fits perfectly and is rock solid. It is a big difference from the original guard, but I haven't found it to be too heavy. The only thing I intend on mounting is the bipod it currently has on it.
@deccied -Yeah man. They are "X-Camo" pattern, I got them at U.S. Calvary online back in 2009. They still carry it. The CETME rifle is a .308 =) Thanks, man.
