  • The Disney's Aladdin music was oddly appropriate, LMAO

  • This is the origonation of schcronized swimming

  • I feed my betta betta food.

  • Hehe~ I just feed mine brine shrimp. ^_^ You can get a case of over a million little eggs for less than four dollars, and make a mini hatchery for brine shrimp for under fifteen dollars. (Salt, Pop bottle, Air pump, bubble stone and tubing)

I just drop a spoon full of brine shrimp into my betta's tank, and he gobbles them up. The little gormet is now refusing to eat pellets again, so I guess I have to keep hatching shrimp. hahah.

  • @adriannadannyfan were do you get the sea monkey eggs from

  • @dulljoker1 eBay or a fish store, You need a hatchery, you can make your own from coke bottles, air pump and plastic tubing. They stink but my fish love them and seem healthier.

  • lol!!!@ i love the music =p

  • how amny bettas do you have?

  • This makes me want to feed fish too....

  • I got my bettas blood worms and they wont eat it. Any reasons why?

  • @WackyJacky25 fish differ on there food preference. try something like tubifex, brine shrimp or just goldfish flakes

  • Comment removed

  • thats a good collection pal..

    kinda love it!

  • 1 worm thumbed down

  • your tanks are WAY to small! Bettas need alot morse room than you think. They need room to SWIM! Its like you living in your bathroom your whole life, you need room, and so do your fish

  • @reininghorses57 beta's don't really. and he might breed them, so he keeps them in a small tank when they are fertilised, or just seperates them to feed them.

  • @MrKoiking1 Yes, they do. They can SURVUVE with a small 1, but they THRIVE in a large 1. If he is breeding them, then that is okay.

  • @reininghorses57 looooooooooooooooooaaaaads of ppl keep bettas in a Small container luckily his is bigger than the ones i have seen

  • Nawwwww What A Cute Betta :) I have 4 (1's Orange) (1's Red and White) (1's Red and Blue) (1's Grey/silver)

  • dang! u have alot of bettas!

  • nice betta's and chopstick skills lol. check my bettas out in my channel lmk what ya think :)

  • i cant even pick up a peice of chicken with my chopsticks....

  • hi friend, tell me how do you cultivate bloodworms?

  • my betta always moves around like that its wierd and i thought he had like a mental issue or something? is that natural???

  • Music WIN

  • Does anyone know what would go well with 2 black ruby barbs and 1 tiger barb??? Please let me know. :)

  • some epic music you have there

  • If you dont use all the bloodworms then what do you do with them? freeze them again for later? or throw them away? (cause i just got a betta yesterday and I have 4 different types of food and i'm not sure what he likes to eat...) I have freeze dried bloodworms but he doesnt like that as well as brine shrimp (which he eats sometimes...) is the frozen food better? (somebody please answer? or no...???)

  • @BlackOrder0208 u can freeze them, but i usually throw it away if its been like over a month

  • @BlackOrder0208 try to get live brine shrimp.then your fish will he them alot.dont over feed it it will eat until it dies with live food

  • @BlackOrder0208 betta food is great

  • @BlackOrder0208 Flakes or pellots should be his main diet, and you should only use bloodworms and shrimp as a treat. How big is your tank? I sudjest flakes, because it is the easyest for them to eat. Good luck, and have fun with your fishy friend! :)

  • @reininghorses57 I have a 10 gallon tank for my one betta. I feed him through a hole in a log that floats at the top. (he knows to go there when i show him the container where his food is kept) flakes? i heard that they don't like to eat that.. sometimes....

  • @BlackOrder0208 My 3 bettas LOVE the flakes! I feed them bloodworms as a treat, but they shouldnt be there nain diet because they dont have enoygh protien and nutricinal value. I recomened Topfin fish food, with colour booster. Try it out, and see if he will eat it.

  • If they are freeze dried they last like 1-2 years. You feed 1-2 sometimes, and, if leftovers, throw them away.

  • @BlackOrder0208 Well, I don't usually feed freeze-dried food (I read somewhere that it's fattening or something..?)

I'd say frozen is better, but after it's thawed, it begins to rot.

He could have been sick, but betta are picky, and sometimes they do what your betta was doing: "testing" the different food choices.

  • I am asian and i suck at using chopsticks. :)

  • teasing ~~~

  • That is a gorgeous betta you have! I'm jealous.

  • u have a beautiful betta

  • how many blood worms should i feed mine?

  • Yummy~ I usually put my Bettas in a 2.5 gal fish tank, but I don't see any reason why they should have a bigger tank. as long as the owners keep the water changed and clean the bettas should be fine. Bettas are more than accustomed to shallow acidic waters, and are even capable of withstanding the stress of flopping from smaller water puddles to larger ones where they come from. The thing is, I can see where having a small container would make more sense because Bettas are a solitary fish.

  • he needs a larger tank !

  • the first betta is SOO PRETTY <3

  • Epic music. x).

  • k that is gross

  • EVERYBODY Asian I am too

  • they were freeze dried blood worms sorry.

  • u need a bigger tank dude

  • @gunitrecord actully, they dont because bettas can live in small tanks

  • @blubblub959 yeah you could live in a box if you were forced to also.. just because he can doesnt mean he should.. you need a bigger tank asian. Being asian i would think youd already know about these fish

  • @FitRider420 yea, and if u knew, im not asian :P also thats what the people at pet co said, so they can, also im not saying they should live in small places, im just saying then can

  • @sothgunfil While your typing is a pain to read, I agree with you. Some people think that because something can live in something that small they should live in something that small.

  • that is one nice and unique betta mine is pure blue (:

  • LMAO why does the music sound like A Whole New World?!

  • this is kina creepy.. imagine if you were one of these worms...

  • i have the same tank!!! xx i wuv my fishie too <3

  • lol the fish is going crazy for that bloodworm

  • hey uhm.. if the fish wont eat any more of the frozen blood worms do i just chuck it away, or do u slice the cubes up before you feed them, if you slice the cubes up, how do u do it?, its too hard for me to cut it up

  • OMG hey do local pet stores sell live blood or live black worms? if not then where could i get it?

  • Give him a larger tank

  • @t3hCube Betta fish don't really need a big tank.

  • @angelakuo1 You're a complete idiot. I'm sorry.

  • omg cool!!

are u asian? you're using chopsticks!

  • @ULiRD yes im asian, and btw using chopstick does not always mean ur asian, rite? hehe

  • @purehardliQ =D i'm asian too... don't think that i'm being racist or something

it's just that you were VERY skilled in using them..

  • @ULiRD thx! :)

  • @ULiRD huuummm, skilled with the sticks *O*

  • @purehardliQ kneecheeana (hi in jap)im asian 2 (REALLY IM TELLING THE TRUF!!)

  • @purehardliQ were did you get him at

  • @purehardliQ actually I think using chopsticks means you don't want bloodworms on your fingers!

  • @purehardliQ yes it does

  • @ULiRD I use chopsticks to feed my fish and move around objects in the tank, and I'm not asian. They're a great tool for an aquarium if a you know how to use them.

  • @ULiRD LOL !!!

chopsticks arn't hard to use ....

and hey , my red head gf use it expertly even though i'm asian and she's german ^^

  • nice betta!

  • Yay for chopsticksss!!!

  • Where can you get the Blood Worms?

  • its funny when your teasing them for a lil bit

  • @WhthaFck It's not funny, it's animal cruelty

  • @FireStormBaller actualy it isnt aslogn as it doesnt last minuts upon minuts its fine ur jsut stimulating the thirst of to the worms

  • OMG! Your betta has amazing colors!

  • your betta = KICKASS colors

  • i have the same tank thing! hah! that was so random... but nonetheless true...

  • how many do u feed them in one feeding?

and how many times a day do you feed them?

  • @marcer7 1 each is sufficient. but sometimes i gave 1-3. i fed them once a day

  • o yeah! i see that now.. is that nest thingy like for mating? or what is it for?

  • Hey guys, i just bought my halfmoon betta and i gave it flakes and pellets, but its not eating it. its been like 3 days... im worried. Any advice?

  • @imtherealcolt are you sure they are for bettas? Because usually they dont eat food that is not specially made for them.

  • @VanillaPolkaDot Im positive its for them... all he does is take a bit then spit it back out. ive only seen him do it once tho. Ive seen him go up for air and spit out bubbles tho

  • @imtherealcolt Well the most common causes for loss of appetite are dirty water, stress, low temperature, and infection. Or, maybe he could be a picky eater. I give my betta Hikari Betta Bio-Gold pellets and he loves them. When he goes up its usually because he making a bubble nest. Its normal for bettas to do that.

  • @imtherealcolt maybe the flakes out of date? try giving them something that has strong smell

  • @imtherealcolt

your betta may have already digested something like a blood worm or anything that it has been naturally feeding on before it was put into the shop or something.

i suggest you try other things other than flakes.

if the betta was raised on eating other things other than flakes, then it will not eat the flakes.

if it has been feeding on flakes for most of its life, the obviously, it will accept the flakes.

anyways, feed your betta something else like baby brine shrimp.

  • thats a nice betta fish

  • Wow ~

  • I have the same exact tank, only that i use it for my baby mollies now.

  • when the female is ready to have baby fish? i have a female betta and i was wondering when can i put the male with the female or when its ready?

  • nice colored fish man they go good together

  • wer can u get the blood worms

  • @hug0572 anywhere in pet shop i think

  • @hug0572 Most pet stores. They are usually sold frozen in a sort of liquid, or dried.

  • @hug0572 You can get it from most of the petshops. However, they come in frozen tho

  • THE GREAT WARRIOR FISH

  • Please buy it a 5 gallon,it will look so much better!

  • @Boxers0 that a good size 4 it .BIG ENOUGH

  • @Boxers0 i've tried a 5 gallon on my bettas.. they didnt like it so i gave them their 1 gallon back.. plus buying more than 1 5gallon tank can be expensive.. plus the cost of extra decorations.. no point
