When it began in 1976, "THE BIG EVENT" was supposed to be more than just a showcase for "old movies". Fred Silverman, who was NBC's president and chief programmer at the time, was desparate enough to throw ANYTHING on to draw viewers away from ABC and CBS...even using an "old" movie like "With Six You Get Eggroll" (which is a good movie, but I'd hardly call it a "Big Event").
My Grannie thought this was an adult movie called " My Sex You Get Bed Sores' so i never got to see this on NBC
