Protest ? European Charter of Fundamental Rights. Article 2 states: 1. Everyone has the right to life. The paragraphs of interest are the footnotes: (a) Article 2(2) of the ECHR: Deprivation of life shall not be regarded as inflicted in contravention of this Article when it results from the use of force (a) In defence.. (b) Lawful arrest. (c) in action lawfully taken for the purpose of quelling a riot or insurrection. Can live ammunition be used against a peaceful "insurrection" ?
barflymatty How right you are, let us hope sanity prevails with a clear NO VOTE - it would be such a tragedy to see Ireland made a whore and sold by the Politicians who act as its pimps.
Clearly a YES vote will make a raddled whore of Ireland, as you rightly say the spirit is being sucked out and replaced with Grey EU franchise & each time the ratchet moves another click another Irish Politician trousers his reward for the betrayal!
"Most of those planning to vote "no" tomorrow have one thing in common: they do not trust a treaty that they do not understand. They show a good deal more common sense than the politicians".
This statement clearly overlooks just how much many of the politicians & other parasites hope personally to make by selling out the democracy, self determination, liberty & independent sovereignty so hard won. However the great gains at the troughs on the gravy train corrupt many otherwise honest men!
I will be voting NO to the NWO and the Lisbon treaty....it's the sane thing to do. Say NO to Lisbon!!! At least we have a vote and I intend to use mine
i really hate this treaty it means thats us irish won't able have any more referendums or individual say on any eu matter thanks alot europe you just screwed us over cause i'm sick of seeing ireland let in any all foreigners cause its just too hard to get job over here in ireland now the last time i was at job interview they turned me down but hired some wanker from the UK so i'm saying no and voting no when the time comes to vote in june cause there is no one going to tell me what to do.
That is one of the most massive democratic problems we have today - not only in the US, but all over the world. It is not only the angle they use about what they say, it is especially what they do not say at all. For instance, when the EU leaders signed the document in Lisbon, Lisbon saw the largest demonstration since 4 decades. 200.000 went onto the streets. But no mention of it in international press or TV. Only the EUObserver noted it.
