Thankyou. I would like more of your insights into this composer for his music intriques me as both beautiful and thought provoking. I have not yet heard his 3rd Symphony.

Does this music speak of the Soviet invasion of Estonia ?

Symphony No. 2 was written in 1937, Estonia was occupied in 1940. The Swedish critic Per-Anders Hellquist saw the symphony as "an instrumental requiem for Europe before the disaster". But Hellquist wrote this in 1984:-)
