In the US there are a load of foreclosures. I am an investor but I wouldn't dear touch any of those foreclosures. Not to mention all the floods and tornados they have been having. And they are only at the beginning of housing downturn.
I don't think it's a great opportunity to buy housing in UK now. I think the pricing will continue on the decline.
Buying a house right now would be like committing suicide. Prices in Toronto, Canada are coming down. Foreclosures are starting to show up. The average housing price was $350K at the end of last year. It has come down to $320K, but in my opinion those prices are still overpriced by $100k-$200K...lol...

Most of the people talking up a crash are overdrawn and behind with their rent.
They will never own a property anyway. Who cares what they think? Double their rents. Keep em down.
