Amazing how many people don't know the first thing about guns are making snide comments. The rounds you hear at the end and the girl yelling to clear the chamber are referring to the rounds cooking off due to the extreme heat. Clearing the chamber might not be the right term but they meant to remove the belt from the weapon so there would be no new rounds fed into the chamber.

While 7.62x51 NATO and .308 Win are very similar and interchangeable, the exact specifications differ slightly. Specifically, the dimensions differ by a few thousandths of an inch and the max pressure for 308 is something like 62k psi and only 50k psi for 7.62. So you may run into overpressure problems if you shoot max load .308 rounds in a barrel that says 7.62x51 NATO, which could cause a KaBoom and destroy the rifle and/or your face.

@arziehi m60 has a rate of fire of around 600 rpm, or 10 rounds a second. this means that in 12 seconds it will fire 120 7.62mm by 51mm standard nato gpmg bullets with 1 in 5 of the bullets being a tracer, the cost for a civilian to purchase this amount its about 30-40 USD depending on where you buy from and even cheaper if you buy in bulk, the military however pays only about 2 cents per bullet. if were in zimbabwe you might be right but in this case you are a complete and utter retard

while that is a problem with machine guns, the military uses the M60 because it is designed to do this specific role. fire continuously for long periods of time without the barrel being changed. so he can change the barrel, and go down range shooting another ass load of ammo.
