Interpreting language,"The sowing was good, but the land was not fertile" relates to how they were able form but the industry was not used to their music so they had to beg producers and radio stations to get out there."The children rising and singing aloud where he sown himself" relates to the fanbase that grew & "where my heart stands in dead soil" is how they will always remain loyal to their fans. idk bout a farewell song but its a thank you to fans

Wie immer viele interpretationen. But like Ein Leid for example, is the rough demo version from Nebel. So it's old. Same for Mein Land. Till wrote it on the beach, like 6 years ago... Bit of shame it comes so late then..

Ich glauber eher das es um eine Sxhwangerschaft geht, die geglückt ist, aber die Frau hatte dann eine Fehlgeburt oder etwas in die Richtung, denn Anfangs scheinen sie ja noch glüchlich gewesen zu sein. Erst im Mai ( die Nachricht der Geburt kam im März) kam heruas, das die Geburt des Kindes fehlerhaft sein wird oder ist.

Das bricht dem Vater das Herz....welcher die Frau daraufhin verlässt und Ihr Herz entzwei bricht. @Otty2Hotty Wenn Rammstein wirklich aufhören würde, würde das angekündigt werden. Das ist extrem gut fürs Geschäft, jeder will Rammstein ein letztes mal live sehen. Von dem hören sie sicher nicht auf oder es ist noch sicher ob es eine Pause gibt oder weiter gemacht wird. Außerdem war das nächste Album ja schon in Planung. Macht mal halblang Jungs schon 2006 gab es Trennungsgerüchte. Und die erste haben auch ein best of mit einen von bis titel veröffentlicht und danach gings erst richtig los.

Just a tip for everyone that thinks the band are splitting - watch the newly released video for "Making of Mein Land". I just watched it myself... Till, Richard and Schneider all completely laugh off every suggestion of breaking up. In fact, Schneider especially says they take the breaks to let new ideas to develop before hitting the studio (which they plan to do again). So all is not lost :)

"Doch der Boden nicht fruchtbar war" tells that these children couldnt stay where they were born. "Lendengitter" and "schoß" are both terms for home. @sushi998 - I suppose the biggest worry is that after the Made In Germany Tour is over they have literally tidied up their last 16 years hard work into one neat little package. All 6 studio albums are done, toured for and summarized (so to speak) into a Greatest Hits package, which was also toured for. It represents two things from here - a clean, fresh start with a new album or they finish for good as they call it to a halt. Hopefully the former proves to be true...
