imperial bowl is only a double black diamond due to the surrounding terrain. If you start from the top, the first 4-5 minutes are tough but after that it becomes more gradual and easy to negotiate. A great run, but if you are looking for something a little more challenging and less crowded try the Whale's Tail or George's Thumb. Always loved the Colorado resorts, but I'm heading to Utah this year and trying my luck in the Park City resorts and Alta.

did you take the 4 O"clock, im 14 and did the summit aswell hiked up and it was a bad ass thing and did the 7 foot drop
