Johhny Red was my best friend's grandpa, and I met him many times - great guy who loved to have fun and loved basketball, and hanging out with the team.

The funeral, although very sad, was a great tribute to the man, with Bulls' guys like Neil Funk, John Paxson, and Bill Wennington all speaking and telling great, funny stories while reliving their memories.

I have lots of childhood memories growing up with Big Red as color commentator, and he is sorely missed! R.I.P. Johnny Red!
