What a trip !!! The same thing happened to me but when I jumped up out of bed I tripped over my shoes and fell into a bookshelf which then fell on me breaking some antique plates that I had placed on top. To make things worse, when I got up, I stepped on the broken plates and cut my foot. While I was in the bathroom dressing my wounds, another roach or maybe it was the same one, ran out from under me. By this time I was so pissed off I just smashed it with my hand.. Simple house wife...
You are wrong about a couple of things. You cannot always eliminate the food supply. They can eat particle board and many kitchens are loaded with it. The second thing is water. They do not need a standing supply IF there is high humidity. The evil monsters suck it out of the air.
Here is a great way to kill roaches. It's instantaneous and not messy or too harmful.
Get yourself a can of electronics cleaner, or automotive MAF (Mass Air Flow) cleaner. It's an alcohol, it will instantly kill any roach, because it'll pull all the moisture out of it on instant contact. The alcohol evaporates away leaving you with a dead roach and no clean up (cept the body of the roach).
@poopplushado Unknown, honestly just get that can of Electronics cleaner or Mass Air Flow cleaner man... It is LITERALLY instant death for them with the smallest of squirts. I challenge anyone to try that you'll see. Maybe I'll start my own roach killing channel :)
I don't understand.... If you can kill them by cutting off there air supply by spraying there shells, how did they survive under the Sea for 50 years???
@vallonia2000 They can absorb oxygen through their shells. Water is H2O, meaning 2 Hydrogen and 1 Oxygen atom. Unlike us, they seem to be able to break that hydrogen bond, making them able to breath even when immersed in water.
I was sleeping and they crawled into my back of the shirt. I literally screamed and jumped out of the bed... I am traumatized for a Life! (6th degree Black Belt and a special force instructor).
I was an Infantry Sgt in Ft Stewart GA. I fell asleep on the floor and woke up to one crawling along my hairline and onto my eyelid. I never knew I could produce such a high pitched girly scream! Worse part is when I went to flick it, I smashed it against my head (and it lived, of course)
I have them in my garden , They dig under the soil and eat the roots of my plants and vegetables, what should I do?
