  • please don't put a big tv screen because the ghetto people will either:

1.cop it and make it thier tv

    or 2.break the tv

  • Wow why do people dog on technology. There will be a place for this, will it replace cc's no. Cash? no. Its just one more way to pay for things. Not only is the NFC technology good for paying for things, its nice to be able to collect data from something just by bringing you device near it. Its not about laziness at all, its efficiently. Why do we have money in the first place? So we don't have to trade 5 camels and a drum of water for a 55 gallon drum of soda...

  • @SpookyFungusMan Have you ever taken an economic class before?

  • I don't know why people LOVE to complicate life more and more , less is more , simple is better , we have to work on more important things , trust me and take my word this NFC nonsense will never be used by the masses just nerds and those who love to show off.

  • @TIMHARTTT ..japan has had it for years..it's pretty practical everyone uses it...if we were a bit back in time it would sound like "why would people complicate things with debit and credit cards" relax if you don't want to use nfc then don't get it...simple.

  • @bambam7180

My point is , when digital take over everything there will be no safe place to hide , you may not see it now but in the long term , believe me , the backfire of digitalizing everything will burn us all.

  • @TIMHARTTT well I can see your point, but I think you are being a little bit too dramatic.

This does not mean it's the end of paper cash, it's just another way of using your credit card.

  • @bambam7180

Not at all , i am not being dramatic i am just seeing how people became so dependent on technology that they are ready to do anything for it , it is like an invisible drug , man there are people now can't leave their smartphones even when they are in the toilet doing there things , ( it is just my opinion ).

  • stickers, and an nfc enabled phone, which is another thing, it will also cost more for the manufacturing of the phone and cost more for the venders because they have to spend money on these expensive technologies now, the only people that benifit from this is google and cellphone carriers, because businesses have to pay more for nfc stickers, customers will have to buy a new expensive phone, and a data plan because they will be convinced that they need that for the nfc

  • @fagerbag and penis

  • credit card at home, because they would just lose one customer, and even if that builds up, the money that they lost is probably still not worth changing all the vending machines and stuff to be nfc enabled, especially vending machines like the coke one shown in the video. So right now, i just dont see nfc technology being useful for buying, the other stuff they showed like getting details just by scanning a poster, etc is cool, but still, qr codes already did that and they dont need special

  • i just thought of something, if this is how we will pay for stuff in the future, how will we buy the phone itself, what if your phone runs out of battery, you cant even pay for your coffee while you are waiting for it to charge at a cafe, and what is the point of this, i mean, its not like bringing a credit card with you is hard work, sure you might forget your card at home, but i highly doubt people will change vending machines and stuff to have nfc tech just for the people that forgot their

  • @fagerbag penis

  • @fagerbag You honestly don't see the convenience in this? In ten years you will be wondering why you ever questioned it. Why carry around a computer, wallet, keys, phone, etc. when you can have it all on one device?

  • @forsomereasonIhateu

Oh so you think black people are stupid huh last time I checked who is the president of the united states I understand that the google wallet thing is actually pretty cool and stupid at the same time no reason for the black people part though

  • this guy seems like he's more amused by the soda itself

  • Only a fag would own something like this. People are getting so fucking lazy and dependent on this kind of shit. WIth device you purchase you give more and more control to some machine. Go ahead lazy fucks go get your fag phone. Next it will fuck your wife and fap for you while you eat cheeseburgers. Want to have some real fun give it to a black guy to try to figure out.

  • @forsomereasonIhateu What is the difference between taking out your wallet for a credit card or cash and taking out your phone. Takes the same amount of energy, if you ask me. So how does this make people lazy? Also why are you so offended with technology? If you don't like don't use it. Simple as that.

  • @lunabrian penis

  • next thing: Google Condom..

  • Lol, that guy really wants his phone back.

Why not just scan my hand or iris. Better still, if we're going to have a total information awareness grid, it should be able to know what I want, take the fiat money from my account and have the pop waiting for me just before I get to the machine.

Zero privacy from the powerful shouldn't inconvenience me with the burden of carrying electronics around.

  • It's great ! You can buy a bottle of high fructose soda pop that will give you type 2 diabetes with natural flavor that no one knows what's exactly in it,in a soft plastic petro-estrogen leaching bottle full of caustic cola that turns you into a girl! All with your Google NSA elctro munny that isn't worth the paper it's not printed on! on't run afoul of the law or get behind on your bills, and keep our child support payments up from your loser marriage because they get paid 1st! LOL @ the geeks !

  • You should've dick-kicked that guy who just up and burst into the scene and ran into the phone while you were doing the demo.

  • Another mobile wallet is by moneto. With moneto, you are not tied to one carrier and on specific phone. Our solution turns non-NFC phones into NFC-capable mobile wallets. Coming in the Fall...visit us: moneto.me

  • This is the future of money right here!

    No more bulky pockets! Woohoo!

  • This will be good when businesses catch up with it. I can just imagine if I handed a grocery coffee shop clerk my smartphone today so I could buy a cookie. But good for google.

  • Wasn't PayPal doing something like this?

  • So if there's phone without NFC?

  • @aric0913 our moneto mobile wallet works witth phones that do not have NFC. We provide a NFC-enabled microSD to put in your memory slot, which gives your phone the NFC function to use our mobile wallet. To learn more, visit: moneto.me

  • this is just begging to get hacked.

  • @iApple2luv1 put your tin foil hat back on and get your tongue out of steve jobs ass. apple are much worse than google when it comes to pretty much everything. don't get your panties in a knot hahaha.

  • Someone can potentially walk around with a device that charges you money for walking past someone.

  • This has been a technology in use in Japan for a while now. It's pretty safe. Just as long as Google doesn't be evil.

  • only nexus s first...wow.

  • @pendergrass808 yeah but apple is going to jump on it soon enough, they have around 50Million credit cards+ in their appstore/itunes store anyways. so people can pay via the store.

  • We have been using similar payment method over a decade in asia , the technology itself is safe to use , only problem is they may sell your personal data to other company. People should beware of that

  • Skip to 0:43 to see a cunt get in the way.

  • tappayandsave com

  • Oops you accidentally spent 200 dollars on a soda... fuck you

  • Funny this is kind of old technology in Japan.

  • this is gay, money isnt real swag

  • Good IDEA!

Cuz the hardest thing in the world is taking out 1$ from your pocket and putting it in the vending machine... -.- (Im being sarcastic for the idiots that dont know)

  • MOROCCAN TECHNOLOGY!!!

  • good way to loose all your life savings

  • OMFGG;; thi s iss PayPal yourrs stolld my eyedees!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111111 >:(

  • kinda expensive for a vending machine...do think companies spend their money for a wide screen touch screen to put it on a vending machine?..

  • @iApple2luv1: get a life, or a girlfriend. preferably both

  • @comik300 thanks for noticing :)

  • @sk12309 anytime

  • Google is taking over!!

  • next thing: Google Condom..

how bout ur things in ur leather wallet like pics, driver license, postcards, cond*m etc..? can we put these on google wallet? sigh..

  • @phcomment25n U mad

  • @phcomment25n google wallet runs on your iphone (or android or whatever) it's not a separate device

  • 56 people don't have money ! ..

  • this looks cool but i am sure there is going to be a lot of glitches to workout. I would never leave home with out my wallet tho I like having real money in pocket. I do like the fact that you can get a prepaid Google debit card I think that's all i would use it for and maybe but like 50 bucks on it.

  • I going to start stealing phone. #TheifMerc

  • If they combine this with fingerprint scanner instead of a password, I think it would be great

  • USA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • just steps from putting money on a chip and injecting it into ur head. KILLUMINATI

  • Its great for membership discount :D

  • Yes it's lazy, but looks fun.

@mrdontrump you can password protect individual apps ... just saw Seal, looks to work well.

  • where are password?

  • I could have just put money in quicker than that.

  • BEFORE GOOGLE WALLET:

DAMN!! I lost my cell phone...

    AFTER GOOGLE WALLET:

DAMN!! I lost my cell phone... AND MY MONEY!!!!!!!

  • @miguel550

don`t talk about Google like that

it`s big company and you talk about it like that ??!!! .......... what a shame

  • @miguel550 You must tell me how you can lose your money, without carrying any money.

  • @miguel550 You must tell me how you can lose your money without even carrying money. I wanna know too!

  • @miguel550 Losing your phone does not mean you lose your money.

  • @miguel550 haha

  • Google Wallet? is like external app of ipads or iphones..

i think apple can make a app for this.. not u need google wallet for some kind of app only... failed idea..

  • 1) our economy is getting EVEN lazier every FUCKING day.

    2) how are you going to call for HELP?! (you cant go to a payphone b'cause your money is on your stupid ass phone.)

  • Comment removed

  • subscribe to me im not funny at all plz

  • Yeah, that was about 4x the length it takes me to insert quarters or a paper dollar and get my drink. Agreed with the guy who said fuck the future.

  • Many of us thought that credit cards will replace cash in the future, but no, your damn smartphone does!

  • This technology is already been proven in asian countries (Japan/SKorea).

  • I have the galaxy s 4g but now I want the nexus s... :(

  • of course this is on the front page google owns youtube

  • Hey, I got a Nexus S! Why can't I find this app?

  • @cartuner555 its only in NY and San fran, for testing and they haven't released it to public yet, its only been to the media....I think

  • are we even gonna have dollarbills in 10 years?

  • It will be easier to insert real cash. Fuck the future!

  • I love google but i honestly have to say .. do we need a vending machine that technical ?

No but really, This is a nice idea, it really is. But now your phone will be more of the central source of your life. What if it becomes stolen ? Who will you call to cancel to phone immediately? How long will it be until your entire life savings is dipped into ?

  • USA is getting lazier everyday. They don't even want to take money out of pocket.

  • @amor49er1 You have to take your phone out of your pocket...

  • Using quarters was faster.

  • It's Gona have a pin or password it's not like u can just steal a phone and expect free soda 4ever dumasses

  • @wsaremix That is even worst, currently when I want a soda I take my wallet out of my pocket and pay for it, with this, I will have to take my phone out of my pocket write the key, wait for the data transmision.

  • Women won't buy this, they lose their phones all the time.

  • I'll keep my cash and coins, thank you.

  • Yeah bad idea all rounder

  • i just jizzed

  • This is repulsive.

  • Lol... I thought about the same freakin idea about half a year ago. never had the means to do it though.

  • How you gonna make it rain on dem hoes with this wack ass shit?

  • wow! Technology painting us into another corner. I am so glad i grow most of my own food.

  • Can you use it to buy drugs?

  • To shut some people up: Yes, this will most likely be protected by a password of your own choice. Yes, Google is aware of your concerns that it might possibly be stolen, they aren't idiots, they're the same company that created the search engine you use all the time. When this gets deployed, expect top-level security. As it's rather doubtful that your average thug will be able to figure out how to hack themselves into it, and be able to steal all your money.

Jeez, some people really are idiots.

  • @Elembivos Do you have a solution for what to do if my phone's battery dies? Its nice having a credit card that doesn't need to rely on a battery...Jeez

  • @Elembivos Wow you must be smart.

  • GLOBALISM & TOTALITARIANISM

  • Its cool and all but it just gonna make people want to steal your phone more and someones gonna make up some way to easily steal information through the phone.

  • When does this come out? is it out?

  • People are missing out on the obvious here... Yes, you will most likely need some kind of password or "pin" code to use it. Do you seriously expect Google to release something like this without having thought about your phone being stolen? This isn't rocket science people, just basic understanding.

  • I'd probably use the pre paid google card. i don't want my credit card info on my phone.

  • Or less incentive to steal your wallet.

  • TO FANCY

  • Hackers will rule the economy...D:

  • in singapore they have a pre-paid card that you can top up as much as you want, and "TAP'N'GO" on trains, busses and such, even make purchases with it, and its just the size of the normal bank keycard, so this is embarrassing to see FINIALLY comin out now.... also, i'm from australia

  • dint google steal this from paypal?..

  • this sucks if some one steal your phone then use is for this

  • Nice, can't wait to steal a phone and buy the fuck out of a vending machine. What are they gonna do? They can't find me, it's basically like stealing a wallet...accept someone's whole life savings is in it.

& for me...it's a life savings of soda.

  • @zSistine evidently you have to sign in every transaction, so a thief stealing your phone won't do him any good

  • i'm seeing forward to find some dumbass-hipsters (like the moderator in the video above) smartphone and buying senseless stuff with it. keep on going =)

  • we have this on the philippines for more than 10 years... we call it E - money, and they also have this in japan long ago. idk why america only got this tech this year....

america is so far behind in tech... damn we got glasses free 3D TV in our country for about 4 years now...

  • one word, inconvenient

  • Comment removed

  • @DreamTheater4life yeah, and less incentive to steal your wallet..

    where did you learn logic?

  • @DreamTheater4life with a 6561 possible PIN code combinations i doubt theyd be able to get into your "virtual wallet" anyways

  • @DreamTheater4life just as much incentive to steal your wallet...

  • @DreamTheater4life YOu know that creepy guy who stands oddly close to ATMs stealing people's CC info with RFID readers/ open nat broadcasting sensors... thats me.

  • @DreamTheater4life You are able to lock most modern cell phones

  • @DreamTheater4life stolen wallet...cash and cards available for immediate use. Stolen / Lost phone...call companies and immediately deactivate everything. Also must enter pin or passcode to use anything. Just sayin...

  • @DreamTheater4life it only lets you virtualize your cards. Nothing more, nothing less. You still have a change of getting your wallet or your phone stolen but now you wont have your wallet with you so... simple math man

  • @DreamTheater4life

    youre a fucking idiot

  • Badddd idea. Plus I don't have a cell phone anyway, they are a waste of money, lol.

  • @LoveVampire derpderp

  • @hollykill Uh ?????

  • 42 people don't have money !

  • @TheTareksharaf What?

  • "Pffff there is an app for that!" ~Apple Inc.

  • they've been doing this in South Korea for a few years now... for convenience stores as well as subways etc... :) it's cool that the concept has finally been brought here

  • Really cool Idea but then again it will have some consequences. There will be a lot of phone theft...you'll see

  • Japan already invented this tech 5 years ago!

  • @Enozjay So.. Fucking.. What.. When shit gets invented it doesn't just pop up EVERYWHERE the second it was made. It takes time for stuff to get around.

  • THIS IS THE ONE THING AMERICA DOES NOT NEED!

  • Ohhh cool, now instead of getting robbed and losing 10 dollar

I will get hacked and all my bankinfo/creditcard will be stolen!

  • Welcome to how you buy stuff in Japan since 10 years...

  • @Aetrion i know right silly americans

  • this is cool until you lose your phone or if you run out of battery and dont have cash

  • Google, you always fail me :]

  • Dumb. I'll stick with cash I can see in front of me, honestly.

  • Now hackers can get more money.

    Oh goodie goodie.

  • 00:17 GIVE IT BACK!! FFFFFFUUUUUUU

  • subway sucks o.o

  • Won't this thing cause inflation or something?

  • What's that guy's problem at 0:43? He couldn't have just gone around you?

  • @xxTDGPainxx haha ikr i was like wtf that dude went in between everybody

  • If you make everything electronic, what happens when we have an unexpected countrywide power failure, how will we do anything? Keep things simple and maybe we won't be F'd when something actually bad happens.

  • no batteries... no money

  • @4mulas holy shit nice catch

  • @4mulas

no they can still have money if theres no battery..

just sell un "google wallet" and u got cash xD

  • 0:13 a credit card taped to the back maybe?

  • NOW IT IS EASYER TO STILL UR MONEY THEY DID NOT THINK ABOUT THAT

  • @justin123618 *steal

  • they already have this shit in japan already 10 years ago.

  • I get one soda faster only using coins

  • Step#1: buy kids cell-phone. Step#2: pay $500 monthly bill worth of soda, clothes, burgers, movies, chips, video-games, candy etc.

    thanks Google!!!!

  • awesome

  • what happened to buying things with cash

  • @jozachar it's called: it's easier and safer with a credit/debit card. dumbass

  • @basktballking55 actually its easier and safer with cash, not credit cards. why do you think the american economy has sunk since credit cards have taken over?

  • @jozachar What happened to buying things with real currency.. Gold and Silver, cash is paper, no value. There is going to be a continuous transition between currency exchange, unfortunately they will all fail regardless.
