Having plenty of experience using a Gaggia coffee and most recently use a Rancilio Silvia 2009 model, I'm curious about your temp control routine. Can you share some light on this? I notice the thermostat light is on, is it coz you have the steam switch on at the beginning of the shot?

The Silvia is OVERRATED by people who can't afford a real dual boiler machine such as my Expobar Brewtus II. Hell the silvia is no better than a Saeco Classico L o LLLLLLLLLLLLLLL.

sure shes was, could stop talking about her gay son. why? cause its far better in every aspect, it's maker has more expericence than the silvia. Italian doesnt mean better coffee machine

sure pussy, why dont you tell your mother to give a call, im missing her already from last night. She blows soo nice, you're lucky to have her as a mom
how could you compare the Silvia to the Ascaso Steel Duo? they're different class, Silvie is a single boiler, Ascaso Steel Duo is dual boiler.
If you want to compare the Ascaso Steel Duo, compare it to Expobar, Pasquini Livia or La Marzocco, they're the father of espresso. Silvia is the father of single boiler machine.
your silvia is noisiest shity unit i've ever heard.. and those buttons are so crapy plus.. the handlee.. its awkardly place infront of you. instead of being on the side
If you have the steam button on for too long and you don't purge the machine. The water will be too hot to make a propper cup of espresso. After steaming a cup of milk, i usually turn off the steaming button, purge the machine and then make an espresso. The downtime isn't too bad after the purge.
Gosh~ What a CREMA!!! My Breville machine can't even compare... Did you tamp so hard? or coffee ground is commercial one? Home machine's pressure is weak compare to commercial one. That could be the reason made that sound. I want to change my machine now......
Why is the pull so long? I read that it's supposed to take 20-25 seconds.

mine makes regular sound, but agree his crema is better than mine but guess his coffee is fresher too!

Hmmm, pulsing sound is VERY weird. Wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that you have the steam switch on? Shot looks good though!

The pulsing sound of the Silvia is odd
