  • The Russian dub is actually really good. :0 I don't speak a word of Russian but it sounds legit XD

  • @lkoinuchan **and the Spanish :B

  • I've done 9 years of french and i have no idea what anyone said :P

  • i thought this was going to be a collection of rants :( booo.

  • I speak french and the tranlation is rubbish they say "Enfait" too many times not the same as english plus the voices never go right with the actors in the tranlation!!

  • Rupert Grave is one sexy beast.

  • @IrchikCK

I'm sorry. ;) Just didn´t know how to express what I meant. Thanks for pointing it out^^

  • Sherlock's name in french is the best...

  • JAJAJAJA el español de España es muy gracioso y... Sherlock pierde toda su voz varonil xD es horrendo xD

  • Sherlock 's, that is Benedict Cumberbatch 's, voice is superb, sublime, enchanting, thrilling, marvelous! Such a pity dubbing a voice like that...

  • I'm somehow happy to see that not only the German dub sucks. I seriously can't understand how one can watch any dubbed version.

  • Russian dub is awful. I only watch it in English due to two main reasons: I don't like the guy acting for Sherlock and most of the jokes/some ideas are usually lost in translation.

  • I'm in shock, look, I've got a blanket!

  • I think the best voice for French Sherlock should be Jean Dujardin :)

  • 4:08 "Oh Fuck Yeah"

  • See? He does care about John :D

  • So funny, those are all languages I understand! But hey, definitelly English is the best! Alway in original!

  • @IamSheWolf wow, respect for knowing so many languages!

  • The actors are best in the Spanish version - their voices and intonation are closest to the original.

  • you can practically see the lightbulb go on over his head...

  • 5:24- 5:26 Can you hear it? How he almost whispers? I'm not sure what he's saying, but it sounds hot! <3

  • I can only compare Russian and English versions, but as I'm Russian (actually Ukrainian) I can say that russian variant is adapted with intonation and I think it's a quite good dub! Seriously :)

  • "Look, I've got a BLANKET!"

Ahaha, this is so adorable xD! My brother and I always break up our rare fights with a nonsens-argument like that ~.^!

  • the spanish version is hilarious

  • Sherlock's spanish voice is the same as Castle's spanish voice!

  • "J'ai une couverture, ah?" hahahahahahahaHA!!

  • i love how John looks away innocently as Sherlock notices him

kinda reminds me of a meerkat..?

  • terribly funny, but nothing beats Benedict's voice <3

  • This is HILARIOUS love it. :) bbc1 8.10pm january the 1st = SHERLOCK SERIES 2 :)

  • its funny i can actually understand the spanish one

  • english: Shehlock!

    french: .... Sheurleck ...

    russian: SheAArr-lik!

    spanish: sEerrock!

  • I'm English all the way. His original voice is just to sexy.

  • i so love thsi vidot ocool an dsweet

  • I can't pronounce his name the Russian way. It sounds awesome, though.

  • @Sarehil there is no "Russian way" of pronouncing "Sherlock". This is just a stretchy intonation which can sound strange for the foreigner.

  • thanks for uploading the russian!!! I'm russian. but ive never heard sherlock ike this cause im in america....... awesome!!!

  • hahahhaha the way they said sherlock in russian. "sheaarr-lawk!"

  • I don't really like the Russian voice actor they choose for Sherlock. He sounds too old, like some guy in his 50ies. Obviously, Sherlock is not that old. xD

And Spanish sounded just funny like you just can't take it seriously.

  • When he sees John, and he knows he shot the bullet, and GAH!

  • @randomchild81

XD It's like his brain just shuts down for a second!

  • Sherlock: "Why have i got this blanket, they keep putting this blanket on me"

    Lestrade: "Because you're in shock"

    Sherlock: "I'm not in shock!"

Why are you so CUTE T^T

  • Whhhy do I find Russian to be such a sexy language? Mm.

  • also, in spanish, when Sherlock stopped explaining what shooter is like he just GASMED when he saw John 8D

  • Russian dub made me lol too hard XD And Spanish sounds funny

  • One of my favourite lines in the show : 'I'm in shock! Look, I have a blanket!' XD

  • looove Sherlock's gaze when he has his eureka moment and deduces the shot was John :D

  • I loved it when he stutters, because he out of something to say! "I just need to talk about the the r- rent"

  • Hey, where is the German version? :o)

Spanish sounds good, but Russian is really weird, lol!

(btw, I´m German, but I´m a translator for Russian ;o)

But I agree with you all, Benedict´s voice is amazing!!!

  • "I'm in shock... I got a banklet!" xD

  • Ooh, I like the Spanish dub. I should find somewhere to watch that - it'd be good practice for me.

  • @ThistleFrost hahaha i´m from Spain and i hate his spanish voice, and i´m not the only one.. i suppose is because we´ve listened to Benedic´s amazing voice and at the same time we´ve listened to that voice so many times, with so many people... Here is a spanish page where you can watch or download the episodes...

  • @666tricia666 Oh, there's no question that Benedict's voice is better. I just like the Spanish dub for the practice. :) (Too bad Benny can't speak Spanish, eh?)

  • @666tricia666 suppose it's like that in any other language his voice just is georgeos...i mean, in fact the german translation is OK, but now i know his voice i hate it...they should at least have taken the one who usually does alan rickman the vice would at least be similar....not the same, not even close, though

  • I don't like the dub, it's not hear ringht. Benedict have's wonderfull voice, and some stupid people dubbing it! They don't know, what they lose! :O

  • know the words to this by heart so I could hand the French one into my teacher and tell her i know the whole of this scene lol the french say Sherlock like 'Sherlockk' okay I know what I mean so it doesn't matter..."if we all go round the garden like a teddy bear!" ahaha get it?no?just me laughing? okay i'll shut up now...and for those of you who've seen the pilot episode..."yes I think that's best" okay I'll stop quoting Sherlock now...

  • Love the dubs, they're all quite good, but how can they dub over Benedict's voice, it loses alot...

  • the french one is definitely the best! I like Sherlock's voice....sounds more like the original than any other synchros. Well done, France!

(but, please try to say "Sherlock" the right way xD- even though it's damn cute)

  • Sherlock's Spanish voice should be deeper, but I like Lestrade's.

  • I hate the German voices.... it's so sad, but they don't fit. Although the synchro itself is really well-done.

Like French best, by the way.

  • "Oh what now? I'm in shock - look, I've got a blanket!"

  • The russian just sounds like jibberish! Fun watching in different languages tho!

  • in russian the tones are ridiculous, don't make sense...it's my native language btw

  • the french version is VERY good!

  • "I'm in shock! Look, I've got a blanket!" My favorite line out of this entire series.

  • 0:59 *watson looks away whistling*

  • How do you watch these in French because I'm stupid? :3

  • Im in shock - look I've got a blanket!

  • It's great how the officers you can hear in the background are speaking the correct language!

  • Heh i like it, the english is best of those. Tho i know about a good dabing version, in my native language, Czech. And I found out, that I could understand partly in french, whitch is very suprising for me! :D Thanks for that. ;)

  • Shirrluck = Russian for Sherlock

    Shér-lock = French for Sherlock

    Shurlock = Spanish for Sherlock

  • Lestrade in French sounds funny :D

  • Very educative!

  • Love the way the French say 'Sherlock'! XD Even funnier in Russian. This may be a double post, if so, sorry!

  • Love the way the French say 'Sherlock'! XD

  • yeah, dubbing him is a crime T_T Benedict's voice is gorgeous.

liked russian, but there is an annoying thing - why on the earth they adress each other with "ВЫ" not "ТЫ" (even Sherlock and John)? politness and all this staff...they call each other by name, not a surname, and after all they are friends, so why?

  • @BenedictInLove Because it's ancient traditions of russian language^^ and politness is important!

  • @BenedictInLove

Yeah they also did this in the French version...in the first episode they said'vous' instead of 'tu' but switched it to 'tu' from the second one, which makes sense considering they hardly knew each other in the fist eps. :D!

  • Spanish sounds nice)))

But Benedict voice not for dub.

  • @scrubnicky The Spanish voice is the same voice that they use for Sawyer, the character from LOST, haha, it's quite funny because I'm Spanish and I think the same, Benedict's voice is just perfect for Sherlock

  • @scrubnicky Agreed....he should just learn the language and speak it himself. :-)
