Paladins are such facerollers; Consecrate and never switch targets - oh yes, so much skill required there, right? 1 button to hold an unlimited amount of mobs. Play a warrior or a druid which actually requires good management of rage and attacks (for example, you CAN'T use thunderclap to hold a lot of mobs because the limit on it is 4 and it causes a very low amount of damage/threat). Paladins are the "ez-mode" tanking class in wow; anyone can play one. In b4 "lol noob warrior" - I have both :)

Ive got a paladin, druid and warrior tank.

and let me tell you tanking as a pala is nowhere near as easy as you think.

shyeah, it is def possible to tank maiden with protadin, our guild just plays it safe and has a warrior do it, only thing warrior cant cast is TC and its shouts, i usually bloodrage first then shield block then battle shout for all the melee but after that yeah its about spamming TC in between your HS and Devastates.

Tanking is very situatonal, with each tanking class haveing specific strengths.

Generally Paladins are better at holding group aggro (AoE Tanking), where as Warriors are better at single target aggro.

Well haveing said that the paladin has an advantage in Kara because most of the mobs are undead meaning exorcism can be used to hold aggro very easily.

the holy ground sliences all spells for a second or so but she does it tons of times and since a pally uses spells you lose aggro

Your both wrong tbh.

Maiden silences for 2 seconds every time she AOE's. the AOE lasts 2.5 seconds or something simliar.

Just fit inside holy shield > concecrate land > begin a seal whenever possible. If you have no other moves or your seal is running out use that.

Its quite easy as pala tank just a bit less agro is all.

gee show me a good warrior tank and i will agree with you... Only class that can keep aggro from my mage, well depends on the player too ofc, has and will always be a tankadin.. 1k spell dmg. For tanking over me in full dps mode, the tank has to keep an TPS on over 1.9k

Just curious, how did you manage to hold hate using seal of wisdom on romeo thier? I thought paly's would have to use only SoR to hold hate, since it is holy damage

Holy shield is the biggest source of threat in a fight with fast hitters like that. Not only does it do holy damage on every block but that holy damage is +35% threat on top of the +90% holy damage threat we already get from Improved Righteous Fury. Consecration also helps. Most fights I'd Judge Wisdom and Seal/Judge Righteousness, but if you have more than enough threat, why not get more mana ;)

its a joke name - my shaman was called paladinsucks after i got pissed off at my old guild on my paladin way before TBC when we were one of the first guilds on the server to clear BWL and disenchanted my Tier 2 epics right in front of them simply because they wouldnt let me tank (to be fair paladins couldnt tank very well back then) but oh well

nice, problem i have is Treath, the further u go the better defence stats u get, and thats sacrificin spell dmg, wich is less aggro, on fast hitin mobs is no problem they eat all the HS, but slow hard mobs take more SoV work, id like to see another rank for RF, or a remake of it for white dmg as well.

I don't know about for you, but for me, when I am tanking raids, I have very little gear on that gives me +spell damage (aside from a few random fights, like illhoof [got second in dps while solotanking the boss, his pet, and all adds. =D ]) and I am able to keep very good threat on just about anything with no problem, and on everything else, it's only a problem for a sec, then it's over in an instant.
