careful when terminating that the foil surrounding the individual pairs is slightly rolled back as it digs in the cores causing a short. this stuff is a bastard to use allow in your price extra time for re testing re terminating and extra modules and deep back boxes.
Hi Shaun, thanks for your comment. You're right, there are extra considerations like those you mention when terminating shielded cable. I think we'd both agree that it's a good idea to practice enough times off-site to become comfortable with the process before attempting a live installation. A bit of preparation beforehand really pays off and the jacks are reusable.

cheers. just to clarify i didnt mean the modules were a problem and i used exel it was just the cable that extra foil lol.
