  • Beautiful!!! Song. Artist. Place. Twilight. Everything!!!

  • this is really beautiflul

  • I saw him at Schuba's several years ago in Chicago and he asked us for a joint at the end. Someone gave him one. He was fantastic.

  • I am having my Vic suicide anniversary wake two days late. . "Independence Day" was from his first album "Little" and it was his best suicide song or the story of a complete life. "Little" laid his shit out and he had to want follow it with a work that laid it all out. again but better-It haunts every great artist.. Being bi-polar is a bitch especially in wheelchair. The later songs were hit an miss and it frustrated him.

  • @Msbookie: I'd like to update the cause of death unofficially as "tired of fuckin' with life".

I have the upmost respect for Vic and his fans, he is a testament for how much feeling an artist should put forth in their work. This video makes me sad, but the work as a whole shows his humanity and a path in life that is largely unselfish,. I wish more people could put them selves out there the way he has.

  • Vic playing on a rooftop in Vienna, above it all, during twilight...nice.

  • "Singer/songwriter who was partially paralyzed from an auto accident at age 18, albums include "West of Rome" and "About to Choke", he had a small role in the movie "Sling Blade" Date of Birth:11/12/1964

    Date of Death:12/25/2009

    Age at Death:45

    Cause of Death:

    Drug overdose"

  • @Msbookie that didn't say the first thing about him... unique, whole hearted man

  • @skyseye Tell me more, I've never heard of him, so many greats apparently do "small roles" in movies. And many of us don't know who they are until after their passing. Example;"Roadhouse" Blind Guitarist, Jeff Healey, Dies Jeff Healey, the blind guitarist whose band was showcased in the Patrick Swayze movie "Roadhouse," died Sunday, March 2, of lung cancer. Healey was 41.

  • Amazing.

  • wow...I hadn't heard him play this live...lucky guys to be there.

  • "Lets Rock" - such badass. Saw him at a bar and when they hoisted him onstage backward with a cigarette in his mouth his arms stretched in victory, i had no idea who he was. Little did i know he'd become one of my best singers over the next 11 years. Peace to you and your family Vic.

  • I got turned on to Vic by Jack Logan years ago and truley enjoyed his music. He played with such passion. RIP VIC

  • thanks, vic, for giving us so much. gonna miss you the rest of my life.

  • God, this is so sad... R.I.P. Vic...

  • RIP Vic, you will be missed

  • Oh, man. Thank you, Vic. America does not know what it has lost.

  • RIP Vic.

  • This man is a genius!!! IMPBHO, his music is yet to be appreciated, but will. Thank you Vic.

  • Great.

  • You gotta KNOW Vic..

Vic, of all the songs you've MADE me sing in the bars of Asheville, NC, you never made me sing thing one... (phew I'm glad)
