You're correct in saying the Mushroom Derby has no visual cues, but that's what the audio cues are for. Do you ever tap your foot to music, or play rhythm video games, or know what tempo is? The minigame isn't nearly as frustrating as you're making it out to be, especially because the race rhythm is exactly the same as the practice rhythm
Donkey Konga provides visual cues. What's Super Mario RPG's excuse? Especially when Yoshi Cookies could have been used to allow available visual cues.
It doesn't need visual cues, though. That's my point. Super Mario RPG's excuse can be the practice run of the rhythm it gives you beforehand, if you wish. The game tells you you're ready for the real thing after nailing the beat there, so I honestly can't see the problem. The minigame can be completed with closed eyes and without Yoshi Cookies with extreme ease
No, I display in the same video--this one no less--that the Midas River is playable without TASing, but the Mushroom Derby is so stupidly hard.
I see that sort of same arrogance in SSB's Stop Having Fun Guys. They too think levels or bosses that would legitimately qualify as That One Level or That One Boss are an absolute joke.
I always found Mushroom Derby to be much harder on emulators than the console because of poor sound synchronization, but I haven't actually tried a rhythm game on an emulator in quite some time so they may have improved in that respect. Now that you mention it, I agree that visual cues would have been nice, but I wouldn't call it "stupidly hard" without them. On the other hand, it generally only takes me about five or six tries to get 100 Super Jumps, so maybe I'm just good.
Yes, let's ban someone for a simple misclick, because everybody knows mods are supposed to be assholes and abuse their power instead of doing something productive and FIXING THE ERROR! FagEddie is officially a douchnozzle and ought to learn how to deal with people. Oh , you had an argument with me, so I'm going to ban you, I'm so mature! Let's see how well you do in real life, jackass!
Wow, you get roughly six and a half Frog Coins for such an amazing feat. What a rip off.

@greatone10
Well, it's not really a rip-off at this point in the game, where you don't have access to the cliff minigame.
Besides, I did get a medal. So stuff I would need Frog Coins for would be more fair game.

@MasterKnightDH The most frog coins you can get from him are 7.

Haven't gotten around to it yet. Hopefully, I will at some point soon enough.

Before this video I had no idea you could get 5 extra Frog Coins that way. You deserve that medal, good job!

Too bad all DoucheEddie cares about is frickin' money and popularity. He has no standards whatsoever.
