@fakeusername88 That "2 hour" movie is only for people who didn't play the first Mass Effect. That means you're one of them! It is an introduction into the Mass Effect franchise, because the story is the most important component. Bioware wants that you know what has previously happened. And if you don't like it, STOP playing this game. Mass Effect 2 is in my opinion the game with the best story/story telling. And I think many people agree!

Also, I find hacking the mech before crossing the bridge kills two birds with one stone: That mech will deal a lot of damage to incoming mercs and even Jaroth.

Aria's got way too much attitude towards Shepard. He took down Matriarch Benezia, Saren, an army of geth, and the reaper Sovereign. Does Aria really think she would stand a chance against someone capable of that? If anyone was begging to be put in their place in ME2, it was her. Sadly, it was never an option. I hope you can take her down in ME3.

@floopsie666 it all depends your play style. Some people are better with rather biotics, tech or pure combat ability's. Quite honestly i find the tech classes to be the hardest, but my friend calls them the easiest. It all depends your play style.

@postapocalyptia you're right, but for a first playthrough of the game and later on when on a higher difficulty, the sentinel is the most user friendly and most versatile, in my opinion. I like having both tech and biotics to have an advantage at all times.

@johnnybumbum if you choose soldier you get a machine gun after the 1st mission. If you choose the others you find a machine gun inside the collector ship or (in the place) choose a Sniper Rifle or if you choose Infiltrator you can choose a shotgun. They won't replace anything don't worry!

@johnnybumbum as Leandro said, with all the classes apart from the Soldier, you can only use class-specific weapons for them (which usually includes the submachine gun and heavy pistol), but once you get to the derelict Collector ship, you can find a big pile o' guns, from which you can choose a new weapon (either shotgun, assault rifle or sniper). It's a good system, since the assault rifle is my favourite!

me2 was overall better than me1 but it jus didnt have the feeling as the 1st one... the whole game was about following the leads and when final 2 hour was going and you get to know that citadel is giant mass relay... it was full fucking epic plotwists. when in me2 you already knew you would be attacking collector base... though i did like the plottwist about collectors are protheans

And 3 is gonna be different for each and every person, from what i know theres a ton of different ending possibilitys depending on the choices you made in 1 and 2 (including the smallests one) Expect this to be the most epic trilogy ender in video game history.

@Borrynixon unlike the transition between 1 and 2, the transition between 2 and 3 will be a lot bigger, every single possible choice from 1 and 2 (big and small) will do major changes to the story and ending of mass effect, from what i know theres a ton of ending possibility's. Thats why I'm doing "perfect" playthroughs where i do everything.

They pretty much scraped the whole inventory system hell they pretty much scraped the whole RPG part, I hated that. Mass Effect 2 felt more like an FPS/Adventure rather than an FPS/RPG like the first one.

Ironically, it's pretty bigheaded to call them big headed. The appeal of ME is never the RPG elements anyway, unlike Dragon Age. It's always the story and characters that make you care for them. I am personally glad they let me focus on those things more. Never have a game make me almost cry on repeated occasions (even Planesacpae: Torment managed only once).
